in his childhood, something must have happend... or because of his past , he doesnt want to rejoice and have fun.. he wants to live in that dark world, and not come out of it

No re.. His instant reply to Kalpi and way of speaking proves that he hates festival of Holi because of entertainment..!! He dislikes noise and colours.. because till date he believed it to be down market.. and he would love tis festival from now on... worry not..!!

may b he's al alone since childhood datz y he doesn't knw how 2 value rituals or festivals but I think now kalpi is in his life n she'll gonna tell its importance😊

Exactly.. and moreover.. CVs just needed some point to make them fight before festival.. so.. there is some weightage in confession..

Even I think there's some childhood incident behind it, and not the entertainment thing. I wish Kalpana had asked him why he hates it, instead of the whole lecture on the his problems.
