well shamit was gonna go sooner or later, theirs no way he could beat off competition like rex, qazi, arijit and rooprekha . so it doesnt really make a difference, i think shamit was also very arrogent and big headed, esp when he was with arpita !!
but i think javed ji was right, its mainly the faculties fault, i dont think every1 should blame arijit and use him as a punch bag !

-- i agree with you 100%. i have been saying the same thing. shmit had to go and it was his turn to go. and i have always loved arijit and still do. bc he is a good singer. im not saying shmit was a bad singer but he was not as good as the other guys.

i don't know whether Arijit has gained bad publicity or not. but this is for sure that Ila and sony people are trying hard so that Arijit gains it.just go and visit famegurukul.sify.com and see how it is against Arijit openly. last night Ila has shown Shamit's tape to Arijit and in this way she is trying to break down his mental strength. did she show simliar videos to Shamit when he did the same to Kirti? enough talks have been made on this issue.Arijit has been asked about it for at least 50 times and he answered. but still Ila is behind Arijit. i have never seen a person tortured mentally so much for not voting any person. yes, he did it bad. but is it not also true that if Arijit did not do it with Shamit, shamit and Arpita would have done the same with him? Arijit realised it and he therefore kicked him out.
i am remembering the confrontation between Shivaji and Afzal Khan. When Shivaji was killing Afzal with Baghnakh weapon , Afzal was asking him why is he cheating him in this way? Shivaji answered, well, if i would not kill you, you would kill me. 😃

I cannot for the life of me understand what is the big issue in this. Every week someone has to go. This week it was Shamit. Fair or unfair he had to go. If Shamit was so good then why didn't Ila save him? If he is such a good person why did Ila torture him?? What is this?? Now they want to kick out Arijit too?? So what if he voted for Monica?? He can vote for anyone he likes. This is ridiculous.
