'Sacch Sooraj Ke Samaan Hotaa Hai.'

Truer words have never been spoken in this show. And this scene between Rudra and Chaachu Sa was the best scene in the whole episode. Even Paro's physical pushing of Rudra and the symbolic ornament tussle comes second to this,

" Sacch Sooraj ke samaan howe hai. Shaam aane par wo kuuch der ke andhere mein chhup jaata hai, kho jaata hai, lekin sawere ke ujaale ke saath wo phir se ugtaa hai."

Rudra NEEDED to hear that from someone. Someone who is not busy in plotting and planning against him. Someone who is not making his embryo-stage feelings for Paro sound like some kind of a sin. Someone who is not screaming at his head that she doesn't trust him. Someone who is looking beyond his steely strength and red hot temper. And , story wise, character wise, only Daanveer could have been that person. A Chaachu Sa who loves Rudra as he is and being an officer himself understands just what Rudra stands to lose here.

Its a small scene but done very well by both the actors. For once, a very vulnerable and scared Rudra did not shake off a hand of affection and support gruffly. When Daanveer told him with an emotional confidence that Rudra's sun is not gonna go down, he wanted to believe that. When Danveeer reminded him of a chapter in universal philosophy, Rudra didn't shrug it off as 'gyaan', he wanted to keep that faith.

Rudra was in his weakest moment when the reality and date of his impending court martial hit him. He was just as scared as a child. just as scared as Paro was in front of the mirror. He needed that small morale boost spoonful - and Daanveer was the right person to embrace his nephew at this critical hour. Just the way Daanveer told this to Rudra , small, to-the-point speech but it hits home and it hits your heart.

Coming to the second important part of an otherwise build-up episode, Laila and Paro ruled the roost today. Laila was at her worst , but she delivered some harsh truths to Rudra. She told him that what Rudra feels for Paro is another colour of what he feels for his mother. For his mother, he had an intense maternal pull. For Paro, he has an intense soulmate pull. And you know why its so easy to guess? Because it shows in your eyes. The way you worry about her, the way you touch her, the way you shield her - they are not feelings of a bodyguard, they are feelings of a man in love... and what did these "allegations" leave Rudra with? No, no, not with some earth-shattering SRK style realizations. They just left him with a disturbia that he shook off within minutes - or at least he thought that he had shaken it off within minutes.

And no, there is nothing to celebrate whenever Rudra comes close to realizing his feelings for Paro- i mean, whatever they are as of now. Just like Laila put Maala and Paro in the same bracket today, trust Rudra to fully believe that history will repeat itself . Round 1 of abandonment with Mom. Round 2 of assumed abandonment by Paro.

Coming to the golden bride, Paro.

Well, as they say often. When you are asking God for something , you should be careful what you asked. When God sees that you are asking for something totally atrangee/satrangee, He sends signs , messages , people , conversations , so that the truth and the warning note can be delivered to you. And when you STILL don't read the signs and get the message, God lets you have your way and show you the real face of what you asked for. This is what happens in real life.

But then, as they say, art imitates life. Paro , till now, has been given a million signs that Rudra is her saviour - of her life, of her honour. One, two, three, four, five... many... to an extent that even her own heart has done a peek-a-boo once in a while and asked her to re-think what she is doing. But Paro has chosen to stick to her beliefs and her mind's derivations. So, now, Providence, after trying as hard she could to convey the message is going to do what she wants. Providence is going to give Paro exactly what she 'thinks' she wants.

Paro wants to run away from Rudra and the wedding. Granted.
Paro wants to go back to the protection of Thakur Sa - Granted.
Paro chooses to die rather than marry Rudra. Still under consideration.

So, Paro gets to have her way. Yayyy! But is that anything to be happy about? Getting what you asked for? Well, we will ask Paro later in the week.

I am not being sarcastic. I am just telling how gullible, naive and innocent to the borders of insane stupidity , we can be , at times. Only because we believe our eyes, our ears , our mind , and refuse to expand the magnitude of truth. Paro has been threatening Rudra with her pet line " jaan de doongi, jaan de doongi, jaan de doongi" ... and look where she is going? She is going to actually live through everything that she threatened Rudra with.

To ask for something and to get it couldn't get any uglier than this.

The last scene ( i refuse to talk about that butterfly ) holds importance just for two things:

1. Rudra is not willing to hurt Paro anymore - he even reconsidered that should he go ahead with the marriage if she doesn't sign the papers. But his resolve to take her with him wherever he goes from here took over . When he comes to the room, he is not menacing or scary - he is just telling Paro matter-of-factly - that don't stretch this anymore. Perhaps his last attempt to convince her , but looking at his face , you can see that he has almost made peace with what stands next door.

2. Paro still sees Rudra as an enemy - all his good deeds and shades not withstanding , because no matter how pretty his colours are, the overall canvas is of a villain who is forcing her into a marriage. Her physical pushing of Rudra is a physical expression of how Paro is blindly pushing away her safety and her life. Paro's ornament getting stuck in his clothes is a call/a warning of her soul that she must not leave him.

Both Rudra and Paro are right in their individual spots but neither of them have the right to feel sorry as far as this marriage is concerned , at least.

FLASHBACK:

Both Rudra and Paro OPENLY gave their consent to this marriage and that too to each-other.

They both knew what they were getting into. If they underestimated/ overestimated each-other, and expected some miracles to happen, its a defect in their own heads.

No sympathy from my side for either of the two - at least in the marriage department. For the rest of their sorrows, i surely can sob into my pink tissues.

Thank you. Laila only told the truth but knowing Rudra, he will do anything and everything to fight what he feels for Paro on an emotional level. He doesn't have it in him to go through Maala Part 2.😆

I found this beutiful lyrics of the song from "Dor" so apt for Rudra and Paro's state...

Yeh honsla kaise jhuke
Yeh aarzoo kaise ruke
Manzil mushkil to kya
Bundla sahil to kya
Tanha ye dil to kya ho...

Raah pe kante bikhre agar
Uspe toh phir bhi chalna hi hai
Shyam chupale suraj magar
Raat ko ek din dhalana hi hai
Root ye tal jayengi
Himmat rang layengi
Subha phir aayengi ho...

As usual totally profound take...
Hugs Vicky🤗.

Spot on analysis of what Paro asked for and what she is getting. Rudra hasn't been able to convince her that he is right and she hasn't been able to shake off her own beliefs and listen to her heart which may have caused her to doubt if she was missing something!
The only way forward seems to be that she wilfully goes against him to h own destruction and either he saves her again or she faces the bitter truth that all she believed in was a lie and he was right!

Didn't get the significance or rather need of mohinis plotting especially the part where Dilsher actually thinks it js Paro who threw something flammable into the room...maybe it's just a diversion which doesn't work and everything is sorted out.

Paro is ready to kill herself rather than marry him but she wasn't trying to even escape because she thought Rudra would destroy her people...did she believe he would mellow down and let her go...even then because she doesn't trust him she wouldn't have gone back to her own people...so how is she considering killing herself now at this stage...maybe in desperation she is unable to think of a way out as this js the end of the road!

All in all it looks like the mela will be the place where some truths will certainly get revealed!

Well said!!

Laila showed Rudra mirror. She could see the place Paro has made in Rudra's life. It can be seen in his eyes. The way he looks at her, the way he touches her, the way he protects her, his concern, his care. How even the thought of her being in danger makes him restless. The animal whom she could not turn into human in 8 years Paro made that happen in 8 weeks. Rudra himself doesn't know when Paro made the animal in him go to sleep and awake the human side goodness in him.

Rudra needed Danveer's pep talk he needed someone to tell him don't worry everything will be alright. Danveer knows what BSD means to him and what he is must be going through. Rudra didn't ask him to leave or stop giving him his gyaan he wanted to believe what Danveer said he wanted to keep that faith that hope.

Rudra has been Paro's shield any trouble that comes her way he would stand in front of it. Paro needs to witness Tejawat's truth by her own eyes until then she will not believe what Rudra says. Only when she faces the bitter truth she will realize it was Rudra who has been her rakshak all this while.

@MoronskiMalika... Lovely post.

These weren't mere words, this was a hint that victory will be Rudra 's .Parvati hasn't paid any heed to the numerous signs that were thrown at her so the providence will have to do it the hard way.
