I will post what I posted in another thread.
When they were in Bhopal and everything, Zain was pretty much attracted to her as it is. He flirted, he wooed..there was a basic attraction and concern.
When they got married, he started hating her for the fact that he thought she had betrayed him. But all those other emotions won't just die, right? Initially, the hate was too much obviously. The betrayal was a blow, so emotions were at peak during the Valima and stuff. But slowly, as the 'Kitkit' started and they started living together, playfully annoying each other..the hate meter went down bit by bit.
As far as yesterday's scene is concerned, I think he went close to her to annoy her, at first. He enjoys her discomfort at getting too close. He has used this tactic before as well. And there was no extra caressing, touching, feeling blah blah. Color lagana hai. Simple.
Because he still said "Holi Mubarak, Mamu Ki Bhanji". There is no Aaliya Zain Abdullah right now. Didn't realise his feelings might surface too. I am not saying it's love, only attraction.
She had told him his hands were banned from touching her cheeks, SO he decided to rub his cheeks and apply color on her.
Plus, as a couple, you eventually do start developing feelings. You like the feeling of jealousy, that you are so important to someone, you enjoy their attention. Maybe when he will process it later, even he might think, what he was upto. But in that moment, she was his to apply color onto and he had to do it anyway.
Aise toh even Aaliya didn't care for him. But now she misses him, she was not mentally into the party till he came, and boy, did we see how jealous she was. LOL
I would just say that it's not love and neither is Zain a patthar dil. As Chand Bibi said, beintehaa nafrat hai lekin beintehaa mohabbat bhi karega.
He enjoys his Kitkit time, her attention AND he is also enjoying the challenge. He doesn't realise it yet, but once she goes, it will sink into him as well and then he would miss all of this.
He doesn't think much of the consequences of his actions. We have seen that right from the start, right?
