Hritik Roshan... that guy was so lucky. Then Ranveer Singh, I guess. Oh and the Khans definitely.

HRITHIK! Fell in love with him the first time I watched that movie. That was the first time I ever truly experiences what "star-struck" meant.

I will start with mid 80s.. 😛

Kumar Gaurav- love story,(BB)

Sanjay dutt- Rocky(ave)

Synny deol- Betaab (superhit)

Govinda- Ilzaam (Hit)

Chunky Pandey( Aaag hi aag) (superhit)

Now, Aamir had debute in Holi.. which was ammm.. zero.

And salman had debute in biwi ho to aisi.. or some thing like that.. he played cameo in it.. looked so handsome.

So technically QSQT and MPK r not these khans debutes.. coz they played adult roles b4

Both of these movies were superhits.. and it challenged Angry young man era of BigB.

Then Akshay kumar came.. "Saugandh" (semi-hit) but he ticked all the boxes but acting.

Now, everyone forgot this guy.. AjayDevgan "phool aur kaantein" (superhit).

BW is back to action masala formula.. 😆 Untill HAHK and DDLJ came.. (Btw, Srk's Deewana was semi-hit and he was already a supertsar on tv screens... Fauji and Circus).

BW just didnt grasp the romanchik idea and Kjo and Sooraj and Adi had a laugh. Yeah, action romantic was the best formula.. Sunny paaji's Ghayal or Ghatak, Govinda's Shola aur shabnm, Srk's karan arjun, and so on... cant rem all..

And then comes the Tsunami.. 😲 7.5 earthquake and it reached NZ shores.. 😲

KNPH and Hrithik.. nothing ever beat this debute. Only Amisha cud.. Hr's 2nd movie Fiza was flop.. Amisha's next movie was Gadar.. ATBB. 😲

I didnt mention heroines here.. coz only Juhi made a mark on celluloid. Othher just wasted the opp.

P.S. Hrithik played a child artist in Bhagawan dada.. awesome acting.. born actor.

I don't think any of the actresses had a really great debuts. While Vidya and Kareena were very natural actresses for their first film..it didn't really do much for their career. I think Amesha Patel had a great debut because I think the guys went crazy for her after KHNPH and her performance was good too.

The guys had a better first films esp Duggu, Amir, Salman and Ranveer. A well Ranveer didn't really get a lot of hype but I thought he was excellent.
