We have seen the show and we get inspired to know more about Akbar and Jodha.

Well, in Akbar's case I can help. I recommend the following documentaries to learn more about Akbar.

1. The Story of India by the BBC. Episode-5 The Meeting of Two Oceans

The section on Akbar is very detailed and you get to know many new things about his life and times.

2. Bharat Ek Khoj

There are two episodes on Akbar. Episode 32 and 33

Both the above mentioned documentaries are available on youtube and you must see them.

If you have any others suggestions please tell.

donjas, what Elizabeth1 said about akbar was so true..its not the wealth but his humanity and rationality that reached the western world which europe lacked and they learned administrative policies from akbar which later flourished in 18th century europe! wow👏
