Ahem told Vidya a big lie and took her away from Gopi. The poor girl really believed Ahem and thought that Gopi will join them.
The Modis locked Gopi outside the gate and told the guard not to let her in.
Kokila has become very dangerous now. She has a heart that is as hard as stone and cold as ice.
Being a mother she has separated a child from her mother, as Baa said Gopi is everything to Vidya, she is Vidya's world and Kokila is determined to destroy that world.

( In a very realistic dream kokila should be young again. Kokila should give birth to another child and then have that child taken away from her and then she will know how it feels.
