Paakhi & Anshuman VM - What's A Soulmate?

Ever since I got hooked onto this show, I have been dying to make a VM on this beautiful couple, but couldn't make one. Not until now.

Somehow no song I could think of, ever made me feel for a moment it FITS these two.

This is such an amazing couple, I LOVE the way Shraddha and Iqbal have played Paakhi & Anshuman with such finesse, I adore them. And the writing of this show is so incredibly touching, rarely do Indian shows have such nuanced writing.

There is such a maturity, a poignancy in so many moments of the show, I wanted to make a VM that would do justice to it, to the best of my abilities.

And then I remembered this sweet, beautiful, simple and yet so amazingly meaningful scene from Dawson' creek and KNEW, I have found the perfect channel for my Paakhi Anshuman VM. After all, there are oodles of shows around on Indian TV today which feature a pair of lovers or sometimes ... well sado-masochists who pose as lovers... but here is a show that ACTUALLY has Soulmates.

Like Anshuman said to Paakhi this past week - if his thinking weren't in the way of them; he would love her wholeheartedly, madly, deeply - he already idolises her, worships her and isn't this the purest form of love - to respect someone so very much, to adore them beyond words and reason.😳 They have no other thing standing in the way... the moment Paakhi can make Anshuman realize or that big dolt understands by some miracle by himself - she loves him no matter what and he DOES love her; hence despite all the deceit, lies and betrayal there is no separating them... after all how can you ever part from someone who is etched into your very soul, in your veins...the world isn't a small place to run away from someone should you wish to escape/avoid them - but sadly no place in the world grants you the freedom to escape yourself😳

Anshuman has to realize and more importantly ACCEPT - his immense guilt, his respect for Paakhi, the fact that he considers himself as unworthy of her and his complete adoration of her can be summed up in one word and feeling - LOVE. Paakhi without meaning to has become the love of his life.

I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did, making the VM.Its been a long time since I have made a VM so if there are any discrepancies I hope you neglect them😳

Hey Maham 😊 thanks so much...only someone who makes VMS can actually understand the plight of finding the perfect song 😆 and its a special kind of hell, not FINDING one and these two are such great source of that hell ... how do you even find something that does JUSTICE to them? They are so far beyond the cliche you cannot degrade them somehow by using something average as per me. Or maybe I am just an elitist or weird in this regard, 😆 I need to absolutely feel the song goes with the couple and the scenes else I can't fill a frame
