And very happy with the Dixit connection as Sushma's husband (though I had a doubt about his involvement and I sent u a PM😉 ) ... but this marriage twist was awesome ... and the further proceeding were beautifully described 👏👏👏

Chapter 26

Aziz kept stepping back.Arjun stepping everytime towards him.

Suddenly a gun shot and aziz stood straight.The gun fell from his hand and next few seconds and he fell on his back.A bullet hit him at the middle of his forehead.

Arjun was shocked,so was ayesha.They looked back and found dixit holding the gun in his hand which still emitted smoke due to the gun shot.

Arjun looked back and found Anurag's lifeless body lying on the ground and the child sitting in the pool of blood beside scared and crying.Ayesha ran to her and took her in her arms and went away to her mother who had fainted and was taken inside.

Arjun looked at Dixit with murderous eyes.He walked to Dixit in quick steps and held onto his color.He had become an untamed animal now.Anurag was the bait to catch the big fish.They had thought of not involving dixit too soon and alert Sushma but now when the bait was destroyed Arjun had lost himself.

He dragged dixit by his color and punched his face.Dixit was still trying to convince him.

'kiyu mara isse?kya chupa na chahte ho?kaun tha ye?bata,'

'sir ap galti kar rahe hai,agar mein isse nehi marta to wo apko maar deta,meine apki jaan bachayi aur ap?'

'acha tumne meri jaan bachai ya apni jaan bachaya hai?natak band karo aur batao kaun tha ye aadmi aur kyu mara isse?'

'mujhe kuch samaj nehi aa raha hai,ap kehena kya chahte hai?meine apki jaan bachahi aur ap mujhe hi..'dixit retorted back angrily,

'tumne meri jaan nehi,apna aur sushma ka mission bachahya,bata warna abhi yahi pe tera kam khatam kar dunga,'arjun shouted at the fallen dixit pointing his gun at him,

Dixit was looking at him utterly confused but gave angry glares when they heard a sound from behind.Sakshi and shree had arrived the moment when Arjun had pounced upon dixit.They found a man lying on the ground dead and tried to interpret the scene.Ayesha too came out and before she could stop arjun, sakshi came forward calling him.

But before she could come close to arjun,dixit took advantage of arjun's distraction and picked up his own pistol from the ground and was about to shoot at Arjun when a gun shot from Ayesha wounded his arm and the gun fell down with a shrill shout from him.

'Arjun ruko,goli maat chalana,sameer aur chotu khatre mein hain,aur ye humari madat kar sakta hai,'

Arjun had become like a ferocious hungry tiger now,but the mere mention of the friend and his team member had calmed him down in no time.In recent times he is not in good terms with his once good friend but then sameer had never betrayed him whatsoever.He had trusted him with his only possesion and arjun had somewhere failed him. But he couldnt fail him now.They both have structured out this danger lerking around in the warehouse raid but sameer had taken it to himself even after a long discussion and glaring session from his end,unknown to others.He couldnt let him die nor could allow the mission to fail.

Shree had already started sealing the area along with the other police team.Ayesha ran to arjun and helped him with dixit.Dixit was brutally injured with arjun's repeated blows.His nose and a tooth was broken,his lips was bleeding and his chin and cheeks were swollen with one hand wounded with a gun shot.

Arjun was still limping and his jeans was smudged with blood.He took hold of dixit and took him into the security cell.Sakshi brought in the medical aid but Arjun was reluctant for any treatment now.He sprinted towards dixit and fisted his hair.

'tum logo ka warehouse kaha hai?'

Dixit gave a faint smile and looked at arjun with sarcastic eyes.

'to tumhe pata chalhi gaya,sushma sahi thi,'he said gritting his teeth in pain,

Arjun left his hair and sat in front of him.He had his gun touching dixit's forehead and spoke up,

'aakhri baar,warehouse kaha hai?'arjun asked in a stern voice unlocking his gun.
Dixit chuckled at it,

'ACP Arjun Rawte tum mujhe nehi maar sakte.Mujhe maar doge to tumhe nahi kuch pata chalega aur nehi wo tumhara dost milega,tum mujhe chor do,tumhara dost shayad sahi salamat mil jaye,'

Arjun removed the gun from his forehead in a swirl movement.He looked away and smiled.

'tumhe sach mein lagta hai mujhe rathore ki fikar hai?wo ek ACP hai,usse apna kam aur apni jaan dono ko salamat rakhna ata hai,tum jaise kuch corrupt police wale usse nehi rok sakte,haan tumhara aadmi aur wo warehouse agar bachana chahate ho to saaf saaf batao,warehouse ka exact location,batao,'arjun asked him calmly until the end when he again held his neck,

Dixit was tough nut.He didnt spill out anything.It was getting difficult for arjun too.He was injured and couldnt move fast and to top it all,rathore's phone was still not traceable.Finally Ayesha came up with an idea.She took dixits phone and asked Shree to check on his last few calls.

Shree checked the last few calls and located one of the call in a nearby area where rathore and chotu had been informed of the warehouse.Sakshi was using her circle of informers trying to locate any such warehouse near that area but none had any information.Its a large area and getting the exact location would take time.

Arjun handed dixit to the security officials who would hand him over to the special security prison officials.Arjun tugged the gun at the back and turned to go but he took a step and stopped on his track.The pain on the leg shoot up and he fisted his palm to bear it.His head had started spinning and he was about to fall when ayesha held him by his arm.

'Sir ap thik hai?ap bandage karwa lijiye hum samhal lenge,ap ki tabiyat kharab ho rahi hai,'

'nehi ayesha mein thik hu,'

'nehi tum thik nehi ho,chal bhi nehi pa rahe ho,kaise jaoge?'sakshi shouted at Arjun earning a glare from him,

'mein thik hu ayesha,chalo,'

Arjun stood straight again and walked a few steps.He was at the door when dixit's evil laugh stopped him,

'tum bekar mein jaa rahe ho ACP,tumhara wo dost aur wo aadmi dono ab tak mare ja chuke honge,bohot der kardi tum logo ne.Uss larki ki baat maan lo aur patti kara lo,warna apne dost ki tarah bohot takleef mein maut ayegi,'he said and again started laughing looking at Arjun's angry face and other's disgusted faces.

Arjun walked to him and punched him breaking his jaws this time and making him fall on the ground with the thrust.He was about to give another blow when a voice shocked all of them,

'kiski baat kar rahe the dixit?'an injured rathore walked in through the door surprising everyone.

Sometime back in the warehouse

They were sure something really big was getting planned.He signalled Chotu to look into the other boxes,when two metals pointed at their head from back.

'hilna maat,naito goli chal jayegi,'a voice warned them.

Rathod didnt move and remained still.The gun was pointed at the back of his head and he was not able to see the man.The man holding the gun,took the gun from him and searched his pockets.The extra bullets were taken along with his mobile and identity card.The phone was thrown on the floor breaking it and kept the ID card with himself.The man pushed rathod forward still holding the gun at his head,and voiced out,

'chal agge,kuch bhi ulta sidha kya to khopri abhi jayegi,aur sathe mein tera dost bhi,aae usse bhi le aao,'he barked orders at the other man,who was checking chotu.

Rathod silently agreed to them and walked forward with hands held up.Chotu stood still at his position,when rathod signalled him to move forward.Noticing rathod walking towards them, the other people working there got alerted and looked at him stopping there work instantly.

'kya dekh rahe ho,apna kaam khatam karo,in dono ko to hum dekh lenge,'the man barked at them and they started working talking and smiling among themselves.He seemed to be the leader of this team.

Two other heavy build men came from the other end and they took rathod and chotu inside a small,dusty room.The heavy build men brought two iron chains and tied up rathod to a wall at one end of the room.Rathod protested but one of men hit him hard in his stomach and the blow spill out some blood from his mouth.

Chotu shook up at that and pushed the man who held the gun at his head.He started beating the man who beat up rathod.Rathod tried to stop him but in vain.Hearing the comotion more men came in and the fight started.Rathod didnt have a choice and started fighting.The heavy build men were difficult to tackle but chotu tried his best,but unfortunate to them the men were increasing in number and it was difficult to tackle more than 30 of them by mere two.

They took control over chotu and Rathod and held them separately by two groups of people.The leader came to rathod and started hitting him hard.He held his color and pulled him,

'ETF..kiyu aya hai yaha?zinda rehena ka shaq nehi hai?'he asked with a smirk,

'tum log faltu mein ye sab kar rahe ho,tum sab log aur ye sab kuch bohot jaldi pakra jayega,aur fir tum logo ka kya hoga,ye to tum soch bhi nehi sakte,'

'bakwas band,'the man slapped him again ,

Chotu shouted at that and few men started beating him badly.They had already tied him up with some iron chains and was beating him with heavy iron rods.His jaws,forehead and right arm was bleeding,but he kept fighting back.Rathod struggled with then holds on him and the leader smirked at both of them.

The leader again came forward and held rathod by his neck.He was about to say something when his phone rang and he picked it up,turning away from rathod.It was a few seconds and the man was still engrossed in the phone call,when rathod took the advantage.

Rathod kicked the man,holding his left arm,and it hit him at his weakest point.He let out a cry and dropped down on his knees.Looking at him the others started beating him but rathod fought back.Chotu was helping him as much as he could in the tied state,hiting men with his legs and sometimes head and even chest..

The man with the phone turned at the cry and found few of his men on the ground.He ran to them but got hit by Rathore who picked his gun and pointed it towards him,making the others stop in their track.

'agar hile bhi to isse maar dunga,ab chalo isse kholo,chalo,'rathore barked at the men in front and pointed towards chotu to untie him,

The men didnt move a step.They were scared of the threat but they couldnt obey his orders until their master made a move.Rathore understood their silence and hit the leader with the butt of the gun,making his forehead bleed.The men instantly moved forward and untied chotu,who puched a few more blows at them and stood up with a gun pointed at the men.

Rathore dragged the leader at the corner beating him hard and pushing him on the floor.

'kya chal raha yaha?'rathore asked the leader,

'hume nehi pata,hum bas yaha bombs assemble karte hai,humare boss ka order hai,aur usse time mafik deliver karte hai,'

'kaha deliver hota hai?'he asked again,

'pata nehi,hume bas order milta hai,'

'kaun deta hai order?'

'Billa,'

'kaha milega ye billa?'

'pata nehi,wo khud ata hai,order deta hai aur chala jata hai,'

'kab aya tha yaha?'

Before the man could reply,rathore heard a shrik cry and a gunshot.He looked back and found Chotu kneeling on the floor.Chotu was stabbed at his back and shot at his left ribs.Someone had attacked from the back unknown to him.Rathore stepped at him but heavy firing started and bullet grazed his left shoulder.The man in his captive hit him and crawled himself behind a big packing case and started firing.

Rathore and Chotu would have been cornered well if not for the back up team which finally made their entry at that time.The team overpowered the men and they were taken captive,while some were killed in the shootout.The area was sealed and the containers and packed cases were confiscated.

An ambulance was called and the injured men along with chotu was taken to the hospital.The paramedics team tried to give medical aid to rathore too but he denied and took one of the police jeep and drove fast to the airport.He needed the information there.

He reached the Airport to find the place sealed and a dead aziz being taken inside the ambulance in a strecher.People were running around the place and everything was scattered.He introduced himself to one of the security incharge and was taken inside the security cell.

He had just reached the door when he heard dixit threatening Arjun.

Arjun turned at the voice at the door and found rathore standing there.Ayesha,Sakshi and shree all turned towards the door to find their chief standing straight at the door. Dixit too looked up at the source of the voice and was shocked to find Rathore.

Rathore was feeling tired and dizzy now.He leaned onto the frame to hold himself straight on his feet.His face had a few swollen bruises,his left shoulder was bleeding soaking the shirt in his blood.Few buttons on his shirt was broken and the always tucked in shirt was hanging loose.

Sakshi was the first one to compose herself.She blasted at him forgetting that he was her chief.

'sameer tum,tum kaha the?kya halat hai tumhari?tum logo ko akal nehi hai?ek arjun hai jise medical help nehi lena aur ek tum ho,bilkul bichre hue bhai lagte ho,ek jaise,'

The words from sakshi made Rathore look up at Arjun.Arjun too had got affected by her words.He had a relaxed face and though he didnt smile,but his lips seemed to bear a smile making his face bright.His eyes sprinkled at his sight at the door,confirming his instincts which loudly spoke rathore couldnt be defeated.

Rathore felt his gaze slowly turn into a glare and he glared back at him.Both their silent glaring session was broken by Ayesha,who finally spoke up,

'sir hume yaha se nikalna chahiye,dixit ko..'she started,

'dixit ko filhal safe custody mein rakha jaiga,then will be presented to the higher authorities,Arjun hum abhi isse interogate nehi kar sakte,arrest him,'Rathore barked his orders and gave a hard glare at dixit who still looked confused at his sudden appearence..but kept a straight stern face.

Rathore walked out slowly followed by Ayesha while sakshi helped Arjun who had a bad foot.Shree helped the team and arrested dixit and went with him to the security custody.
