Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and Ahem's (Mohammad Nazim) relationship hit rock bottom when six years ago, they lost their first born child, Meera. Actually, Gopi had accidentally dropped her child from a mountain cliff. As a result, Gopi's husband and in-laws ganged up against her and cursed her for such a grave fault. However, little did they know that it was Gopi's sister Radha (Bhavini Purohit) who masterminded the plan to marry Ahem.
To escape further embarrassment at the hands of her in-laws, poor Gopi had to leave the house. However, no one was aware of the fact that Gopi was already pregnant with Ahem's second baby when the entire incident happened. No, after the leap of six years, Gopi was shown living with her second child - Vidya. By the work of fate, Vidya and her cousin Rashi's children come to know about each the relation they share and decide to reunite the estranged couple - Gopi and Ahem by marrying them off again. In the bid, they drug Gopi and make sit in Radha's place to tie the knot with Ahem.
On realizing that it was Gopi who had remarried Ahem and had kept Vidya away from them all these years, the Modi family goes mad and hurls accusations at her for her misdeed. Ahem decided to keep his daughter with him and asks Gopi to leave for good. However, Vidya gets disturbed watching their parents fight with each other and she runs way to escape the torment. Luckily, the family finds her whereabouts but Ahem and Kokila continue complaining about Gopi's fault. The family takes Vidya bac to Modi Bhavan albeit without Gopi who keeps on pleading for apology.
Well, this is really a hard time for Gopi as has lost her daughter now. But going by the recent developments, there is a slight possibility that Gopi will stand up for her rights as a mother. On the other hand, there will be much convincing from Ahem's family's part to forgive Gopi and bring her back in the house. But whether that will really happen is only time can tell!
