Which ACTORS have a good MIX of BIG/SMALL BANNERS?

Since the prior topic Should Madhuri go back to Denver? did not get any takers, I am changing it around to discuss something that probably could appeal and up for a good discussion. A lot of actors in Bollywood strive for that balance between the BIG and SMALL banners. But, who has done it well? The KHANS seem to have not worked well with small directors. What about the actresses?! Please share your thoughts. 😊
