The story of the moon's wife Rohini touched my heart too. The moon needs Rohini. According to Paakhi, whether the moon actually loves Rohini or is helpless in accepting her is up to interpretation. Same with Anshuman's feelings for Paakhi. All we can do is speculate whether Anshuman really loves Paakhi or not, but the truth will unfold before us when Anshuman reveals himself... which he hasn't yet, because he himself does not realize. However, the precap completely goes against this.
The dream. I knew it was a dream, but it took me a few seconds to figure out what was happening. I was like oh my gosh, and I started to cry at exactly this moment. Paakhi has hope. She still has hope at this point that Anshuman will turn around and tell her he loves her, only her. This hope will not allow her to even think about moving on right now. In some place, she truly believes that Anshuman loves her too. That's why she asked him later, to have her question answered.
Oh the precap. It made my heart ache, literally. Anshuman told Paakhi he'd love her more than anyone could love anyone. He said that if he didn't instill that mission in his head, Anshuman would love Paakhi unconditionally. That was beautiful. The way Anshuman said it, and the way Paakhi cried. The way Paakhi cried because she knows that Anshuman does love her but she can't do anything about it because Anshuman brought this doom upon himself. The precap broke Paakhi, but at the same time it filled her with happiness because she knows that Anshuman loves her a lot, but he only fell for her because he tried to get her out of his life. While he doesn't openly admit to loving her, he makes it clear that he would have fallen for Paakhi if he wasn't set upon his agenda of getting her out -- if he can tell her he would have loved her with such certainty, that means he does love her.
Sorry, I'm just super emotional right now, and I have no idea if what I'm saying makes sense at all, but it all comes down to this: Anshuman loves Paakhi unconditionally, but he's letting her go because he considers himself a bad person for even having the motive and the drive to send her away like that. However, he thinks the reason is because he doesn't actually love her, but he knows he does without believing it. Anshuman loves Paakhi, he knows it but doesn't realize it. And whatever he said about never being able to even subconsciously fall in love with her is completely bullshit, because he wouldn't have claimed that he would love her if it weren't for his initial motive of sending her away, if the love wasn't already planted in his subconscious mind.
Once again, mindblowing episode, as usual. Iqbal and Shraddha were absolutely fabulous today. The dialogues were beautiful and the direction was really well done! Sorry if my post is confusing, but the episode touched me deeply.
