We can't blindly support and worship a character no one is perfect every person have there flaws even Paro was outsmarted by Mohini today it's a game of evil vs good so Mohini and Thakur being shown smarter than Rudra and Paro makes sense. The evil will be shown smarter in the beginning but in the end love will win! It's the theme of Rangrasiya afterall.

I will also be the first to stand up and say Rudra has been extremely dumb. If at the end of all this Rudra is supposed to defeat the Thakur then Rudra needs to sharpen up. Diya is right he is very impulsive, hot headed and very emotional which is a recipe for disastrous decisions. I think so far in his career all his deficiencies worked in his favour because army needed immediate results, he has become a major at a very young age, moved up the ranks at an alarming rate because all he probably had to do was shoot down people and stop law breakers at all costs and threaten which he is great at. However he has not faced someone like Thakur who is a mastermind criminal. He has so far stood alone and dealt with the bad guys but now those tactics are not going to work. Now he is a major he is leading more people, he is responsible for others too and he has been warned before for working alone. I think the writers did establish this weakness of Rudra early on in the story when he killed all the five terrorists without any shred of proof, he is such a character who believes himself as judge and executioner, but those five guys were a nobody so his superior let him off the hook because he is a good soldier but is he a good leader. So early on in the story I think the writers were telling us Rudra is reckless. There were moments here and there where Rudra was shown capable of thinking of schemes like fake arrest warrant but he is too impatient for well laid out plans and just wants immediate result. I hope as the story is progressing not only do they develop Rudra's emotional deficiencies they also work on Rudra's brains, he learns to lead truly and look at the bigger picture. I hope with the upcoming marriage track no matter what happens I hope they show Rudra is making a decision that will defeat thakur not being an emotional fool.
