Guys, I am in a very jolly mood today ... Thanks so much for celebrating my 1000th post this weekend ... It was so great to re-live why we love Jodha Akbar together! We should do it more often! What so you guys think? 😊
Okay, here is my top 5 for the day, in a bit of a lighter vein today, hope you like it:
(1) Haye Haye Mirchi (Referring to Jodha's mirchi of course which now others other than Jalal are finally tasting- FINALLY! 😆 ):Loved the first set of scenes with MA; the highlights for me were the following:
- When MA tried to insight Jalal against Jodha ... Jalal was so calm. In the past, Jalal would be raging against Jodha before he even got there. What a change! It was nice to see.
- Hoshiyar warns her that the shaitaan will come ... MA. Even Hoshiyaar knows MA's true colors, wonder why never warned Ruqs about it. Are we also seeing Hoshiyaar warming up to Jodha? If Jodha could change Jalal, Hoshiyaar is easy! 😆
- Jodha caught MA off-guard by thanking her for bringing Jalal ... she has perfected the fake sweet talk!
- She follows it up with asking MA for permission for taking Jalal with her ... MA doesn't know what to say 😃
- Jalal always has time for Jodha begum ... Even before MA interrupted him he was talking about the jashn for Jodha Begum. As Jodha sould say, everything starts at home- for Jalal, that means Jodha 😉
- And Jalal looked great in his orange jaama! Is it new? I want to believe he got a new dress. 😳
(2) Jodha spent more time with Jalal than ever before: As people are debating about Jodha's baashan style , etc., I will celebrate a much simpler point- this episode gave more screen-time of Jodha and Jalal together then the typical episode. Who knew being harem warden would bring such awesome side effects? 👏
And MA had to deliver the message to Ruqs! Secret rehne dehti!
(3) Ben ka intekaam: This was a hilarious scene. What a note on top of the well - I am surprised it also did not thank Jodha for saving the Shehenshah's life. I thought Ben would be useful in at least helping Sujamal find a hiding spot- and she was not even successful with that! Abul Mali shows up with his worst hair cut yet! He dedicates his move to avenge Ben- wah, kya zehrila pyaar hai! 🤣
Thank God Sujamal heard this ... How convenient for SD, Sujamal did not see him! Bechara, only ladki ka costume mila to warn Jodha! I am guessing one episode will be dedicated to him trying to warn Jodha all day - but since Jodha is busy abolishing slavery she will not have the time- and then Sujamal will have to go into action during the Jashn.
Also, phew, all my nightmares of Ben coming back from the dead or being saved by Abul Mali are officially dead. 😉
(4) The boy in Jalal reflected again: I have to give it to Jodha- she builds her arguments with Jalal in the most climactic way, saving the boy for last. I am always touched when Jalal sees his childhood pain in others and love how he admitted that he is his gunehgaar. Loved his expressions hear! 😊
On a side note- Jalal seemed almost jealous that she was hiding people in his harem without his knowledge - just kidding! But, it is true, that the pity she is showing to the boy and everyone else in the harem- she never seems to show Jalal.
Also, a lesson to be learned here- A lot of us were very pessimistic that Jodha hiding the boy would lead to a MU- nothing like that happened! So, let's not count on MU till they actually happen, more for our own sanity than anything else. 😃
(5) Akdha again!: I am liking Jodha's turn as harem warden- she is spending more time with Jalal than ever before. So much for Ruq's plan! And looks like slavery will be abolished in the harem soon. Perhaps, we will see Jodha doing more work for her Jalal as well as they find workers to replace the slaves! 😉
