i think with her kingness and patience she will be able to run this harem.

I am not saying terrorise them so much that they hate you and want your death.
Even a PM if he is too innocent and soft people say he is unfit then imagine a king who has to go to war field and fight battles?
Where did jehangir fail as king? Because he was too innocent too willing to listen to everyone and dance as per their wishes especially nur jahan, khurram and asaf khan's. (John F Kennedy comes close to Jehangir's character all his decisions were usually guided by daddy, mommy and younger brother)
Whereas Akbar was an idependent king who could not be influenced majority times by any family, friend, minister etc. He did what he thought was right so he is called great (He was initially more like Indira Gandhi but later became like Abraham Lincoln wanting to unite fractured countries, give everyone equal rights etc)
Shah Jahan was in between these two neither overlly controlled by family and friends nor too independent
Aurangzeb was the other extreme of Jehangir, he never listen to anyone not family not friends not family no one(like Hitler)

Justice or maintaining order there isn't always a hard and fast rule (atleast most of the times), as every case is different , every issue needs to handled independently and in a vast empire it isn't always possible to satisfy everyone , what may be leniency from one persons POV may be justice from others and similarly what may be cruelty from one persons POV may be justice from the others.
It is a very thin line one has to thread as a King who is Supreme and considered Jille illahi , god by his citizens , he has to set an example of a just ,kind hearted yet strict king.

Just as a parent one uses both the tactics in parenting so does a King but again as there isn't a ONE correct way of parenting there isn't of ruling ( referring to parenting here is coz akbar felt his citizens were his children) Bringing in the balance is very critical.

Same would be when you handle a company, Harem , home, kingdom. management skills required everywhere to bring in win win situation.

Well said di.. But the line is bold is WOW!!!! That's what I feel.. At times, you have to be strict for the betterment of citizens..
Nice comparison with the way parents do the upbringing of children..
