@Pavi I am not sure whether you have attended any rigorous training. IPS is much more rigrous than the IT training I attended. But let me tell you one thing. During training there is nothing critical as such. They are grooming you. They are grooming you for a good professional life.
And as a learner during this period atleast you are expected to give first priority to this. Yes your family comes second.
Because you have tests every week. Everyday assignments. It is almost a type of working away from your academic days. You are evaluated more stringently here than at your actual work.
You have to use every opportunity to iron out your inefficiencies. In case of Sandhya her shooting inefficiency is a problem. Its accuracy is much needed for an IPS officer in do or die situation. Irrespective of Sandhya winning the trophy or not if she is unable to improve her marksmanship it can be matter of death and life for her or someone she needs to safeguard.
So to be an ideal bahu she is fortifying a chance to improve the most important need of an IPS officer makes Sirjee tells that.
Now Sandhya is bahu first, then IPS it cannot be like that as far as services go it has to be IPS first, bahu later.
