I read an interview of Sanaya's previous sucessful show's producer/director in which he said that the story should be told from the heroine's point of view. This makes sense for TV shows where the majority watchers are women and they need to identify/sympathise/empathise with the heroine to be interested in her journey. Once a loyal fanbase is established for the show, then ofcourse they can take the story in whatever direction they want to,
So whether it is Zoya, Madhubala,Jodha, Archana , Akshara or Sandhya it is thier initial story which got the viewers hooked,
Mind you some of these shows have now become crap and quite unwatchable but they are reaping the benefits of thier loyal fanbase,
The makers showed in the first 15 days what other shows take 3 months ! In this process they lost out on showing the much needed background for both Rudra and Paro esp Paro.
I would have loved to see Paro's childhood( I liked the girl who played little Paro) and her interactions with Mami, her cousin and Thakursa and Thakurain. This would have helped in understanding Paro and also building more sympathy for her. The writers also would have got a heads up on how to take Paro's character forward (becoz now I feel they are fishing about!)
In panic, the makers have opened all the cards too soon!
