When a person sees another in a similar predicament that they once found themselves in, the desire to help the other from her situation is great. Gopi must have identified with Gauri's pain of being an orphan and felt that even Vidya would get a sister, if not her entire family. Ahem is not seen hugging Gauri so it is clear that Gopi is going to raise both kids on her own and with the help of evidences like the mark on Meera's leg, (or on Radha's confession) she'll know Gauri is Meera. Then maybe Gohem will reunite.
