He is still your 22 year old Jalal- he gets confused sometimes. And a 22 year old Jodha gets a break as well. As I had said before, CVs always use Jalal as the wild card, even at the cost of consistencies.

I sensed the first inconsistency earlier- in the tarazu, it seemed clear Jalal wanted Jodha to win. But, now I think, he wanted her to stand up to the expectations of the begums who looked up to her by running for the election instead of easily running away. Because, the next day, he was telling he was torn to Salima. I mean why was he torn- does that mean he saw some benefits to Ruqs being the harem lead? Then itself we should have cried foul!

About Jodha- she had this forgiving streak about her since the beginning of time:

All her bravery was always for Jalal- now she has no one to use it against.

I want more passion/intensity/womanly feelings from her - she's discovering love na.. how does a girl feel when she first does so? So many raging emotions.. so many self-talks/confusions ..giggling to herself etc etc...fine she's dignified and doesn't show all this to others and him ...but, at least in the private of her chambers...at least like how the ash Jodha felt in JA movie..

Forget anything, she hasn't even acknowledged once that her husband is a good looking guy...
