Is shivani at fault??

My take on dinner date, Shivani was apologizing to Raghu's family about what wrong she did to him. She genuinely felt bad and when Baburam suggested them to cook something special for her she didn't want them to do that and make her the "priority". The reason for her coming there was to make up for everything she did so she wanted to do something for them and took them to a nice restaurant. She also knew that Latha had not forgiven her and I think she wanted to do something special for her and the rest of the family.


The precap I think Shivani is still feeling guilty for what she did by treating Raghu like a servant that she is trying hard to show him that he is not that anymore. She has also started developing feelings for him and they are new to her, she is unsure what they are at the moment. These feelings are making her do everything she can for him which she thinks will make him happy.

Agree with you after some drama Latha might be the person to help Shivani to understand Raghu a lot better. She might also help Raghu to realize his feelings for Shivani because it will take him longer to accept his feelings. She maybe the one to show Rashi the way to make their relationship that of husband and wife instead of malkin servant.

But very interesting analysis latha. Made me sit n think actually. Wat cud b going on in shivani's head...n here's my take.

I don't think shivani is trying to flaunt her riches. She is just trying to make things right the way she knows. N to an extent it worled too. I mean, even raghu was happy seeing his family having good time. But at the same time, I do agree that it will take a lot more than rich food to win raghu over. But then again, even in that 5 star hotel she remembered what raghu likes to eat it, n ordered it for him. I liked that, how she did that for him, even when he stayed silent. So she knows he is a simpleman, n she did make an effort.

Now the precap, again I think she is just trying to compensate for all the insults he had to go through at the haveli. N it also shows that she doesn't hav a problem with raghu inheriting half the property. It will sure make him uncomfortable n with time she will learn that if raghu n she has to live happily, she will hav to stop pushing all the luxuries at him.

I have always believed that one should never change for the sake of love. If its real, then the other person should love u for who n wat u r, n also for who n wat u r not. So I would love it if shivani stays the rich girl that she is, n raghu stay the humble guy he is. Mayb that's y I liked that aloo jeera scene this much.

I also felt the same thinking that Shivani was buying love. But, I felt sorry for her , coz the only love she got is her daaju's which was not enough to make her realize that love isn't only pampering and protecting . Love is bigger than this, as you said she has to reach to Raghu, and understand him first. This rich life will make him feel uncomfortable. And may push him away from her as a reaction. Coz , it is a reminder of the huge difference in classes between them.

Don't think that shivani was trying to flaunt her riches ... shivani now knows raghu cares a hoot about property , so why would she think of trying buy raghu or his family... just my POV...

n i felt the scene was her way to thank then all for accepting her apology n giving back the affection they had for her , in a simple way... she reacts to the situation n when she heard they r going to treat her n fuss over her , she just declined it n offered the same to them... she took care of raghu's likes at the dining table n soon realised that they weren't able to feel easier with new dining options n culture so she quickly discarded the chop sticks herself n ate with them , mingling freely...

yeah agree shivani is fair in her intentions...I'm just wondering by showing such scenes are the cv's going to use these to show the thin line of difference between sumitra and shivani...that sumitra is a normal and equal to R where S is beyond his reach...if R agrees to marry sumitra...and denies shivani...then S needs an answer...so maybe...s will understand her Rana status is an hurdle for her to reach Raghu...and then she might try winning R's and Latha's heart by not using her money but by staying in R's house as normal girl...making the family feel she is one among them by all means...
