Filmfare Awards

Can somebody please explain why there are two categories in Filmfare awards- Best Actor/Actress popular and best actor/ actress critics? Why best actress Filmfare doesn't mean critics only? Is it because Filmfare wants to give best actress popular to hit movies & actors only and they want to give critics award to the real talent only. My point is Deepika won the best actress popular award because the movie was a hit,she did a decent job & Deepika is more popular than Sonakshi at the moment. But why did Sonakshi didn't win Filmfare critics choice award when she was unanimously praised for her performance in Lootera?

Best Actress is the actress who wins by popular opinion, like a mix of a good year + popularity. Like how Deepika P is winning all the awards as she had a STELLAR year & was praised for her acting.

Those members who complain about Deepika's winning the Filmfare award as if she has snatched it away from Sonakshi can they explain why Sonakshi didn't win Filmfare critics award though she was praised so much by them(critics). These members continuously harp about Sonakshi's critical acclaim then why don't they answer this.

Best Actress Critics is far more prestigious when it comes to acting acclaim, as the critics choose the actress they feel who out-shone the rest, in the film fraternity. 😊 like Sonakshi won for Lootera at the Zee Cine Awards.

even Sona might not have so much issues with DP getting all the popular awards but some members here do..😆

ab kya kar sakte hain...Awards are so fake afterall..they are not fair when our favs dont win! 😛

Same as when some people are still whining about Vidya's 2013 filmfare until now. You really can't please everyone dear 😆

I believe that Nimrat Kaur was most deserving last year
Now should I sit at a Dharna outside Shilpa Shukla or Deepika's house?

Nimrat was fabulous in the lunchbox and because of she's not really popular on IF and her movie not called Lootera, no one complains about her absence from award shows 😛
