Overnights: Pyar Ka Dard Hai' takes lead in UK


Star Plus suffered a slight setback last night in the UK Asian TV ratings with most primetime shows delivering lower than usual ratings.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, Pyar Ka Dard Hai' was the top show with 144,800 viewers, followed by Mahabharat' with 118,700 viewers and Diya Aur Baati Hum' with 112,500 viewers. The likes of Saraswatichandra' and Saathiya' were down to just 89,600 viewers and 109,200 viewers respectively.
Overnights: Star Plus fictions on lower side on Friday


Diya Aur Baati Hum' claimed back title as the leading show on Friday night in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The show which airs at 21:00 on the Star Plus pulled in 135,300 viewers - peaking at 155,300 viewers. Generally ratings were lower for primetime fictions on Star Plus for the second night on the trot. Mahabharat' was in second place pulling in 131,200 viewers and Saathiya' in third with 123,900 viewers.
Other favourites such as Saraswatichandra', Pyar Ka Dard Hai', Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and Meri Bhabhi' remained on the lower side for the second consecutive evening. They failed to cross 100,000 viewers last night.
