Hello everyone. Well, this idea came to me and I had to write it, I am going to try updating my SS soon, but I am not sure when as I am kind of busy this week. I hope you all enjoy this.
Purvi sat in her room deep in thought. She was thinking about how her life changed in the past few months. She used to work at the OVT industries for a few years when the company was taken over by another company. That is when she met him for the first time, when he came to their office after the company was taken over, as the new boss. She can never forget the impression he made on her, as they say the first impression is very important.
"Khadoos!" That is what she called him. And why would she not? He was a very rude, arrogant and an inhuman human being. He thought the world of himself. His life revolved around his work and thought it should for the others as well. She was stressed. No doubt the pay for the job was good; however, the pressure was too much. She could not handle it anymore. He kept on demeaning her, insulting her in front of the junior staff which really hurt her. How could she tolerate it, her self-respect was in question.
She had never thought this will happen, but it did. She fell for him HARD! How could she not? After working for him, working with him, she started understanding him, his nature and that is what made her fall in love with him. He was her prince charming in every sense that she had dreamed of. He was very caring. And that is what she liked about him the most. He never did anything to show off. She came to know about his caring nature when he gave charity to an orphanage. He gained respect in her eyes immediately. However, he confused her. His actions did. One minute he was this really sweet guy and the next a ruthless and shrewd businessman. But she saw right through him after working for him, with him. He did not want anyone to see his caring nature which is why he put on a mask of being an arrogant businessman. He was like a coconut, hard from the outside but very soft from the inside.
He was a guy who admitted it when he was wrong and went on to rectify his mistakes. She recalled how he asked her to join the office after forcing her to resign. How he requested her sincerely and even apologised for his mistakes. She adored his this quality. As everyone can make big claims and do what they think is right, but very few have the courage and decency to apologise when they are wrong.
She blushed thinking of the first time she was attracted to him. It was in a temple. She had just finished saying her prayer and saw a snake near them. She clung to him like her life depended on him out of fear, closing her eyes. She barely heard his voice full of concern calling out to her. When she realised the compromising situation they were in, she opened her eyes and saw his deep brown eyes. His eyes. They revealed everything. That is when she read his eyes which were full of concern for her. They screamed out loneliness. That is when she emotionally connected to him for the second time, first being the time when he bought a painting made by his mother from the hotel, not caring about the price and carrying the painting himself as a very cherished possession. In spite of all these thoughts she had about him, she was confused as his attitude towards her changed every minute. In one such incident, she resigned from her job. She could not take it anymore.
After she rejoined the office, it became bearable working for him, in fact she enjoyed it. She learned a lot from him. She saw a change in his attitude towards her. She saw how he looked at her when she was with her fianc, like he could not bear it seeing her with another man. Yet, he left no stone unturned to save her relationship with Vinay. But she broke off her engagement. That is when he became very friendly and used to support her, encourage her, praise her work and defended her. Until that fateful day when everyone saw their MMS. She was heartbroken, while he was livid. While the male office staff looked at her with lust and the female staff with disgust, he defended her in front of her colleagues who bad mouthed her and glared at her. When she went in to his cabin to talk to him about it, they hugged one another in the moment due to the emotions and he had kissed her. She went wild. She screamed at him for having wrong intentions and every other time he apologised and tried speaking to her to clarify himself, she insulted him. Yet he did not utter a word against her. In fact he came and confessed his love for her saying how she changed him in to a better person and how he fell for her.
She still remembers how she rejected his love and asked him to leave. When she was almost about to lose him as he was going to leave the country is when she realised her feelings for him. She rushed to the airport to stop him from leaving and confessed her love for him. The tears of happiness in his eyes is one thing she will never forget.
But they were separated. Due to destiny or may be misunderstandings when his fiance came back. She misunderstood him yet again while he pleaded for her trust and support. Finally all the problems between them cleared when he confessed his love for her to everyone in the family. This sure did cause problems between her and her mum, but he vowed to her mother that he will win her (Archana's) heart and will prove that he alone is worth her daughter.
He left all his luxuries and riches for her. This increased respect in her eyes for him. And he proved to her mother that he alone is worthy of her (Purvi). He took a bullet for her sake; put his life at stake to save hers. That is when her love for him increased. Seeing the affection and love he had for her made her fall harder for him because that is when she realised how his love has always been giving. He never asked her for anything but he loved her with all his heart and this made her love him more.
Finally after a lot of difficulties that they faced, they got married. They became one, their love for one another united them. It gave them the strength to stand against the tides of the storm and the tests of time. Purvi smiled when she remembered all this. She was waiting for her husband, Arjun Kirloskar oops no, Arjun Khadoosloskar is what she called him, to come back from the office. She needed to give some good news to him. And while waiting for him, she had gone in to the past.
"Baby, I am home!"
Finally he was home. She checked her appearance in front of the mirror in their bedroom to check she looked fine when he was about to enter their room but stopped. He was mesmerised seeing her in a beautiful red sari combing her hair the way he likes it. He leans against the door and admires her from far while she is checking herself in front of the mirror. Sensing someone's gaze on her, Purvi turns and sees her husband, the love of her life looking at her. She too is mesmerised seeing him. How can someone look so gorgeous and handsome after spending the whole day in an office meeting clients? He looked dashing with the top 3 shirt buttons open and sleeves rolled with his coat on his arms. She turned beetrood red when she realised how she was looking at him while he had a smirk on his face. She looks up, in to his eyes and their eyes lock. They keep looking at each other with love in their eyes. Still in the trance, they move towards each other. Finally they are just a few inches away from each other. Arjun envelopes her in to a tight and passionate hug to which she responds with an equal enthusiasm. He then kisses her on her forehead and finally gives her peck on her lips. He then points his fingers to his cheek and kissed him on the cheek in return. Arjun's smile widened while she blushed.
"Arjun, you are home! How was your day? I was so bored sitting at home. You know what I am coming back to the office from tomorrow. I listened to you and did not come to the office today because I was unwell' as you put it but now you will listen to me please, I get bored sitting here alone." She spoke in one go and made a cute pout on her face to convince him.
He smiled at her antics and how she is still the same. He looked at her and asked, "Did you go to the doctor? That is the first thing. Tell me what the doctor said and then I will think about it." He smiled at her. On hearing no reply he asked her again.
"Purvi, honey, tell me what did the doctor say?"
He looked at her concerned while she lowered her gaze and blushed.
"Arjun, well, I..." She goes closer to his ears and whispers something.
Hearing it, he is shocked, surprised and very very happy.
"What?" He exclaimed out of happiness. "Purvi you are pregnant baby! Wow! This is the best news in a very long time. Ohh I love you baby!! No wonder you look extra beautiful today!"
He kissed her on the forehead and squeezed her in to a tight hug. She hugged him as tight as he did and smiled at his reaction.
He then knelt down and went near her stomach, "Junior Kirloskar, I am waiting for you my baby, come soon. Mum and dad are waiting for you." He then kissed her on her stomach. Purvi smiled and got emotional seeing his reaction. She was dying to see his reaction which is why she never told him over the phone and it was totally worth it keeping the news to herself until now.
"I am going to be a father baby!!! I am so happy!!"
Arjun was extremely elated. He was on cloud nine. He felt his family would be complete soon. He decided to inform his dad and Purvi's family soon. But before that,
"Baby, you are not coming to the office from tomorrow and no more work at all, you will rest all day long and I will do all the work..."
"Arjun, no. I mean I will get bored and I am only 2 months pregnant honey. Please do not do this to me..."
As we all know, their argument is going to go on for a long time, so let them sort it out on their own while we leave them enjoying their moment alone.
