Aankhon se aankhon tak ka safar.
Jo Saras ke liye kaafi lamba lag raha tha.
Aur Kumud ke liye bahut sahi lag raha tha.
Saras ke paas thaa sirf Ek ehsaas
Jiss ka chehra dhoondne wo chala aaya
Aur Ratnanagari aa kar tho wo mugdh ho gaya
Sab ka pyaar paakar, jaise bachpan laut aaya
Aawaz sunne ko mila, sangeet bhi
par chehre ka darshan baki tha abhi
jis koshish mein usne khaayi ek halki thappad bhi
jise poora karne ke liye uss ne li ek kasam bhi
The run up to the darshan
Saras sees her face that night when she falls asleep next to him, but with hair on her face covering a full view.
He hears her beautiful singing.
He finds an unlikely ally in her when he helps that little boy from drowning.
He touches her hand when VC keeps it in his.
She comes to say thanks for saving his dad but goes away.
She even meets him outside near the temple.
She applies haldi on him.
He gets paired with her for kite-flying.
He finally outs a deadline on himself that he will see her face before dusk on Uttarayan.
And when it finally happens, what a sight it was.
Their eyes meet.
Kumud is sulking silently and shy at the same time.
Saras has her hand in his so she cant run away.
He is totally mesmerized and taken in by her beauty.
She was caught unawares and it just happened.
Confession comes out that her voice brought him to Ratnanagari.
Best part: Saras's beautiful smile that said everything on what he has been going through and what is happening to him. He has been running away from rishte but this ehsaas and her beauty swept him off his feet and he was bowled over by that maiden.
