Flawless..this is the right word to describe Avinash's Sachdev performance today in the scene on the terrace..it just captures you in Shlok's wirpool of pain, despair, regret and resentment for giving his heart to swati, who broke it and took evryth good away from him leaving him in the darkness with no one to guide him to trust love once again..

As soon as shlok sees the bangles in his cupboad he hold them strongly in his hand as if he wants them to destroy them and make them disaper in thin air.. anger is rising inside himself, he is on the verge of errupting, spotting ashta he shouts on her how did those apear there between his stuff..interesting is that he didnt asume she was the one..

Ashta explains that Aditi gave her those bangles but has no idea how it broke..shloks expressions slightly change at her reply, he grabs his clothes..black pants and dark brown shirt..dark colors, just like the storm inside himself..he longs for peace..thats y he went in a place where no one can distub him..up on the terrace..with the busy city below him, people moving on with their lives, above him some lights that look like foating..and him between those two...all he has to do is rise and touch the light..but for that he has to leave the past/dark behind..

He has one of his clasics soliloquy..that he hates evryth that reminds her of swati..he opens his fist and throws the rest of the bangles..like throwing those painfull memories away..he admits it to himself that he loved her truly, but now regrets it, shatered, with a broken voice he sheds a tear..regretting he once loved her..beautiful moment altogether, music, scenary..shloks expressions..almost real..

Shlok wants to emerge from the darkness..and we know who is going to help him do that..aashta, the one who lights a diya when he mentions darkness is all around him..

All shlokie needs is belief( ashta=belief ), he needs to gain that trust in people, in women once again, remember i posted some time ago the stages of aceepting love once again and moving on, well shlokie is somewhere between depression and acceptance..

Anywho, i loved how they linked the two scenes, shlokie being in the dark up on the terrace and downstairs ashta is asked to light the diya, use her right as a daughter in law, so ashta also needs some guidance..she tried to stop aditi but anjali was the one who actually removed aditis hand..so anjali helped one child indirectly..but when jyothi calls she makes herculean efforts to keep up with her record of "her in law's house is her home now".

Jyothi finds out she is pregant, she thinks of ashta to get help but when her mother answers she ends the call..she knows is meaningless to ask her..when she confirms the pregnancy with the doctor, she tries to hide it from abhay and his bua...she calls the white house once again she cries in helplessness hearing her mother..this breaks the ice queen too..when jyothi asks her to bring her poison she breaks completly..porr women, i wonder how anjali is still breathing knowing her child suffer just like her, even more infact..

As both mother and daughter break down on the floor, a medicine pack is shown behind jyothi..danger is aproaching, abhay will know, what will happen to her then?

Brilliant performance by geetanjali..the scene was as heart breaking just like it was baby bear crying..

Oh, i must not forget to mention i liked ashtas attitude with aditi today, she kind of acused her or eardropping..and advised her that she should mind her own business, shlokie is hers to tension/worry about.. i also liked she brought two cups of tea..treating her just as she is ..a guest..unwanted one i may add.. and also a looney creature who dreams to own what she does have right on ( precap)

Beautiful episode..although it had sad moments, there is like a begining of an end..end of darkness and shadows..

Awesome post Myra..me too loved Avinash's performance today..👏👏👏

tht scene was awesome.it was first monologue from him..expressing his inner thgts...n Avi did a fab job in this scene..my heart went out to him..this guy s still hanging in d past..in d moment when Swati left him..not able to move on..he is still surrounded in tht darkness...

At the same time..in present..his heart is getting pulled towards brightness which Astha brings..bt he s scared..scared to feel d same emotions again...wat if again he gets betrayal..he has built wall around his heart...to safeguard his own heart..bt he s failing now..slowly slowly..without his own realization...n thts d reason he was scared...he was trying to convince himself tht he dsnt hv any issues wid d dark clouds Swati has given him...he wants to remind himself tht betrayal again n again so tht he can keep himself safe frm falling for Aastha..he wants to keep reminding himself tht all s girls r selfish n not trustworthy..

Now coming back to Jyoti n Anjali..Jyoti has been pushed to the threshold where either she will commit suicide or will try to escape frm d clutches of her husband..m praying hard for d second one...dnt want innocent soul like Jyoti to lose her life so tht these Agni clan can get a shock n realize tht ther s harsh reality outside than d make-belive world where NA n Shlok feels tht other ppl do not hv strength to harm them...

Anjali..this woman is helpless..she s strong lady who can take all the abuse n torture all these years without a word..bt at d same time weak tht she cant stand for her own daughter..tht scene today when Jyoti was pleading to Anjali was so heartbreaking to watch..😭..Anjali is feeling every bit of Jyoti's pain n she s cursing her fate tht d situation s not allowing her to protect Jyoti..i loved Geetanjali's performance when Anjali's breakdown was shown..lovely..👏

now abt d most tlked abt entry..Aditi...

her time of entry is making me think tht she mst be here coz of NA...she came almost immediately after NA expressed his fear to Anjali tht rather than making Astha her aks, Anjali herself is being Aks of Astha...i guess he mst hv felt threatened by Astha's presence tht he brought this Aditi girl with sole agenda of reminding Shlok abt his past so that he dsnt move on...

Also NA was wary of Astha asking for Swati..he mst be feeling uncomfortable of someone trying to probe into the things where he s guilty...(this s purely my gut feeling..)

Astha s bit uncomfortable with this sugary sweet behaviour of Aditi bt she s true to her self..i.e. nice n caring...she will not be able to look beyond d surface bt situation s making her look...she felt bit awkward when Aditi went on to light up diya near tulsi...she s beginning to doubt her...

Also i feel tht Shlok might hv sensed till now tht since Aditi has arrived in his house, all these weird things hv started happening..i want him to come out of his misery..put 2 n 2 together n sense sm foul play in all this...

Difficult time for Ashlok fan in me where Shlok is shown in his own Swati world n Aastha s shown pinning for his well being..Shlok dsnt hv time to appreciate her presence in his life as of now..bt when he will get tht time hope it will not be too late..

5beautiful title myra, it does seem likes its almost an ending but ending to shlok aastha story or an end where swathi left him and it all ended for shlok forever, i guess only time will tell. Avinash is simply brilliant actor👏

I hope jyoti finds a happy ending, i felt bad for anjali but at the same time i felt the similarities between her and shlok, both broken by the one they love the most😭

Brilliant performance by Avinash, Geetanjali and the lady who enacts the role of Jyoti (I am sorry but I don't know her name). Today the characters enacted by these three actors were at the centre. ...todays show was basically about Mommy Bear and her two cubs...Baby bear and his sister Jyoti.

The episode started with Baby bear finding the broken green bangles in his cupboard. Slowly he starts getting angry and he has flashback of him smiling and watching Swati playing with the bangles. He holds the bangles in his palm and closes his fist tightly to internalise his anger and to hold his memories/past closed in his hands. This guy is scared to move forward in life and he also does not want to share his pain/fear. He internalises everything and that is why he is frustrated and irritated. Astha knows this and she has herself spoken about it in one of her monologues after she read his diary. Anyway this time he did not blame Astha for placing the bangles in the cupboard (there is some level of trust) and nor was he angry that she has touched his stuff...he was more affected with the source of the broken bangles. His expression changed a bit when he got to know that it was Aditi who gifted the bangles to Astha. He closed the cupboard, left the keys at the right place and then stormed out of the room for some time alone. So he is disturbed by the past but not as disturbed as he has been before...he did know where to keep the keys...he didn't run. It seems he is coming out of his past and the more he comes out the more will he lash out and fight with himself or anyone who is pushing him or making him come out. Fortunately/unfortunately that person is Astha and that's why she faces the brunt of his anger. Astha is left worried that Shloke is angry at her...most probably she thinks that it is the fact that she cleaned his cupboard when it is actually the bangles. If she had paid attention then she would have realised that he is not angry at her but at the broken bangles.

Later Astha goes to Chipkali's room with tea and sees her sitting on the bed and sulking. Chipkali apologises to Astha that because if her idea regarding rearranging the cupboard, Astha got scolded. Astha jokingly tell her that she must have been listening to her and Shloke's altercation. So like Astha Chipkali also thought that Shloke is angry because of the cupboard? Was she sulking that the bangles did not affect him as much as someone touching his stuff? Anyway Astha in all humour also told Chipkali to not worry about what is going on between her and her husband and to leave that to Astha. She did give a friendly advice regarding not worry about stuff that are not her concern. Chipkali then held honeypots hands and said that she hopes that the love between Astha and Shloke ontinues and that there are no problems. This is very strange...nobody has told her that there are problems so how did the thought of them having problems enter her head? I mean normally people do not immediately think that a couple are having problems just because the husband has shouted at his wife for touching his stuff. This Chipkali knows more than what she is letting out.

In another part of the town Jyoti is in her own hell hole. She is panicking that how on earth will she see a doctor regarding her pregnancy and she does not pay attention to what he aunt in law was telling her. Abhay drags her to their room for more torture and presents her with two black eye patches that horses wear so that they are not distracted. Abhay tells Jyoti that similar to the horses, Jyoti has too stop looking here and there and just focus on him and also reminds her that the reins of her life is in his hand. Pretty symbolic... I think he is talking about his friend visiting them and Jytoi's smile at his appreciation regarding her cooking but it also indicates to Jyoti's current state where she is distracted because of her pregnancy. So however much she thinks about it, the future depends on Abhay's actions...regarding Jyoti's life path. After Abhay leaves Jyoti tells herself that she is now used to this life and that at this moment she is worried about seeing a doctor. She decides to call Astha to ask her for help but the phone is picked up by Anjali. Jyoti cuts the call thinking that he mother will not understand. Later on she gets the opportunity to go to the market and she makes use of this opportunity to visit the doctor. At the doctors chamber with fan revolving in the ceiling (background) the doctor tells Jyoti that she is pregnant. The camera freezes on Jyoti's terrified look and the revolving fan in the background takes a more ominous appearance. Jyoti manages to mask her fear and shows her happiness and requests the doctor not to tell her family this news. To me the whirling fan represented the past again coming back and the way the camera focused on Jyoti'f face with the ominous background of the whirling fan...it showed that this time the danger is hanging just above Jyoti's head and it has become much more bigger than what it was before. Then we are brought to another girls life...if Jytoi's daughter will be killed in her womb then little Kavya is slowly getting killed. She is physically alive but she is slowly being taught that she will have to lead an empty life where she should not have any aspirations, hopes or dreams...her role is to exists and to live a life which will always have boundaries and there is nothing called free will.

Jyoti returns home and she decides to call her mother...she knows what her mother will says but yet makes a last effort. The child in her (I am not talking of the one that she is carrying) is desperate for her mother's love and protection because the child expects that the mother will protect him or her. It is the adult who understand that parents also are human and that they might also have their own issues and limitations...a child won't see that. Today in the scene between Anjali and Jyoti, I saw a child desperately begging her mother for her right to live. Anjali who was equally distraught and has her own issues and fears, pushed Jyoti back to her hell. Jyoti is fighting to save her child and Anjali is trying to deal with this situation the only way she can. Most probably she thinks that Jytoi is comparably safer at her in laws place than at her own home and the reason might be Neeranjan. They all think that money will be able to decrease Jyoti's hardships and they probably all also think that Abhay will not do anything that will directly put him against the family. Jytoi in desperation and in trying to show Anjali how serious her condition is, also told her to give her some poison. Some anger at her mother is also involved here. Anjali refuses to help her and cuts the call...both mother and daughter break down...Anjali places her hand on her chest and then places her hand on her mouth and cries...she cries in such a way so that others cannot hear her breaking apart. But she cries in an open area and does not hide away...Jyoti also breaks down and she does not realise that one of the pregnancy kits is on the floor where anyone can see it.

It is evening and Astha enters the dark temple in the Agnihotri mansion and lights the lamp in front of the idol of Ganpati (she has started on the journey of removing hurdles) and Chipkali enters the temple offering help and leaves taking the lamp that is meant to be lighted in front of the tulsi plant (worshipped because he keeps away evil). The scene switches to baby bear...he is sitting on the edge of the roof...with a sheer drop in the front and lights shining on top of his head. It is not completely dark...but it is twilight...the moment between dark and light. But his thoughts are taking him towards the darker side where he remembers Swati and then says that he hates everything that reminds him of Swati and saying that he drops the broken bangles into the darkness below. The scene switches to Agnihotri mansion where Chipkali goes to place the lamp in front of the tulsi plant only to be stopped Anjali who forbade her and tells her the only the DIL has the right to do this. She calls for Astha and tells her to light the lamp. Astha takes the lamp from Chipkali and places it in front of the tulsi plant and lights it flanked by Anjali on her right (the good side...one of respect and honour) and Chipkali on her left (the bad side). The screen again switches back to baby bear who says that because of Swati he is surrounded by the clouds of darkness. He is used to it and he has also learned a very important lesson that one should never trust girls. He has only one regret that he did love Swati. Both Shloke and Astha are at a crucial juncture in their life...Shloke is not in darkness...he is in the zone between dark and light...and he is on an precipice...his thoughts and fears are pushing him on the darker side and one misstep will push him over the edge. Astha is also caught in between...Anjali and Chipkali ...and it will be Anjali who will see to it that she does not waver. Astha had accused Anjali that being a mother she did not support her child...Anjali is doing that now but through Astha. Anjali had also sent Astha to Jyoti and if Jyoti reaches out to Astha, then maybe she might also get the help from her mother...but through Astha. Anjali cannot do things openly and she needs someone to do them for her. Shloke said that he loved Swati...he did not say that he still loves Swati. He has moved on but is scared to let go of the past and he is clinging to it for his own security...all he needs is belief...or Astha.

Coming back to the Agnihtori mansion, Chipkali apologises to Anjali for her mistake and emotionally manipulates her saying that she does not know about all these things because she does not have a mother. Yeh right! She knows about everything else and does not know about this!!! Whom is she kidding? Anjali accepts her apology and then after she leaves warns Astha to be careful and not to let mistakes happen.
