This year seems to have films of many a leading actor clash on the same day. One of them is 12th of September when the Shahid Kapoor starrer Haider will release along with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Roy. This news was tweeted by Taran Adarsh saying, "Another clash! It will be Ranbir Kapoor versus Shahid Kapoor on 12 Sept. #Roy versus #Haider."

Haider is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is an adaption of Shakespears tragedy, Hamlet, It stars Shahid Kapoor, Shradda Kapoor, Tabu and Irfan Khan. This is the second time Vishal and Shahid are working together again after "Kaminey".

Roy is directed by debutant director Vikramjit Singh and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. It is a love triangle story and Jacqueline is said to play a double role.

Which Kapoor do you think will win the audience at the box office this time?

it depends on the trailers and songs, both movies r not the usual Bollywood entertainers, so the promotion material and content will help people decide which one they want to see.

So now Roy is Ranbir's film? I thought it was just a special appearance

Haider sounds more interesting but who knows since Ranbir is more popular Roy could come out as the winner.

it started off a as cameo appearance, then the director decided to make ranbir the second lead,

Ranbir is just doing a cameo😆 The director keeps insisting its a full fledged role to exploit his popularity..Poor Arjun Rampal😆

Don't even know whether Ranbir is doing a substantial role in this film. Also what genre is it? Somewhere I read its a thriller where Ranbir solves the mystery with the help of cops and some reports say triangle love story. Maybe both. 😆 Anyways, if Ranbir has indeed given 45 days for the shoot, it won't be a cameo.

I think its similar to that Sushmita film where SRK played a cameo?I forgot the name but it was initially supposed to be a cameo and then the director extended his role..Eventually promoted it as an SRK-Sushmita film😆 I see something similar happening here cos Ranbir keeps insisting its a cameo and the director actually goes to the extent of saying he is playing the most important character😆
