Don't know why the changed the actress only things I can think of is maybe she didn't want to do the role since it was turning negative or has other commitments, maybe the CV's want a different actress to play Sumi. Agree I liked previous actress in the role too.

Who knows maybe she is the one that told Rupesh and his mother that Dadu left half of his property to Raghu in the will. So they maybe working together.

Agree I think the main reason for the track is to see Shivani's jealously but also maybe to make Raghu realize his feelings for Shivani and get him out of mindset of Malkin/servant mode.

I never hated Sumi I could understand why she behaved as she did, but now that she is turning negative my view will probably change let's see what happens. I think in this track we will she Shivani's jealously come out but also I think it will make Raghu realize his feelings for Shivani.

Agree with you Dhanya, the CV's need to get rid of some of the current villians in the show. I also thought that she would come back as a way for Rashi to realize their feelings for each other which I think will happen at the end of the track. Just didn't expect her to also want the property. The previous actress was good I liked her, maybe she didn't want to do the role or the CV's decided to bring in a new actress.

as I have not followed the show from the beginning, could somebody tell me who is Sumi?

Sumi was the girl that Raghu was going to marry, on the eve of their engagement he married Shivani. Shivani's grandfather had put a stipulation in the will that all his property goes to Shivani's husband and that the marriage has to take place in 3 days otherwise everything goes to charity.

Shivani was to marry Abhi but then she discovered that he was after her property, so M&J convinced her to marry Raghu and on the day of her marriage to Abhi. When Dadu found out he kicked Rashi out of the house, Baburam found out about their marriage and brought them to the basti. Raghu had promised Sumi that his marriage was fake and as soon as everything was made right, he would divorce Shivani and marry her.

The breaking point for Sumi I think was the Karva Chauth, where Raghu promised her he would break her fast and that Shivani would not be fasting for him. It ended up that Shivani did fast for him and she walked in on Raghu breaking Shivani's fast and she lost it.

Agree with you Jyoti, Sumi has no right on the property the only way is through Raghu. Not only will it be enjoyable watching Shivani's jealously and possessiveness but it will also be enjoyable to see how Raghu handles these two women fighting for him. Can be an interesting track if handled properly and not too much on the property track initially.

Yeah I hope property is put to rest for sometime and we hv full focus on RaShi love track with Sumi as the spice element 😎
