Need Help

I require your help. I know as a fandom we tweet and trend and I have a question regarding that but not fandom related. I hope you all can help. I work for an IT firm outside of India but one of our bigger client is in India. We are trying to trend something for them and with them. I have tried researching the topic but no useful information has come out. Can we change our twitter location to India, will that make it look like we are in India and trend in India's Top 10??? If not what do we have to do as a company to help them trend in India from outside of it?

Google hasn't been very helpful so I'm hoping fandom will be. This was my project so I hope I can give my bosses some positive feedback.
