DOTW - New Dynamics in Garodia House

First of all, a big THANK YOU to all members who participated in the dotw feature last week. It was wonderful to see so many responses, and please keep it up.

Just a reminder: any other topics can be discussed as normal topics in the forum. Any topics opened discussing this topic will be closed.

So here's the discussion for this week:

As we saw last week, after a very close call, Yuvraj and Kajri are now husband and wife. The last hurdle has been passed, and both are celebrating their huge victories for very different reasons. Kajri's entry into the house brings some very interesting new dynamics into the house. Menka is top dog, and is very accustomed to being in that place. As far as she is concerned, Surya should now continue to give her top dog status: she has brought a very wealthy princess home, as a bahu. What a shock she's in for 😆.

My questions for this week are very general ones:

- What new dynamics will Kajri bring to the house? Will she be a good, religious bahu or will she finally reveal her true self?

- What implications does this marriage have for Gauri and Durga? Do you think she'll join the rest of the gang and suppress them?

- Will Kajri prove useful, or useless, to Menka's ambitions?

- More importantly, how will Menka's relationship with Yuvraj change?

- What about Suryakant? Will he shower her with love and affection, or will he be as indifferent to her as he is to his daughters?

- How do you think the truth about Kajri will be revealed?

- Will Kajri be able to give up her former life, and settle in as Garodia parivaar's dutiful bahu?

- Have we seen the last of Rasili?

My Personal View:

I don't think Kajri will appreciate Menka's overbearing nature. Yuvraj is sure to clash with his family over Kajri, maybe even moving out of the house, etc (the whole son drama). Perhaps this will be the huge disappointment Menka and Surya will face from their beloved son.

I think Kajri will be indifferent towards the girls, seeing as they are harmless. Menka might try to instigate her against them, and that will be interesting to watch.

Regarding the truth about her identity, I think it will take a while to be revealed. At this stage, only Bhavishya can blow them out of the water.

Rasili is sure to rear her ugly head, perhaps to blackmail Yuvraj and extort money from him.

I really think that the serial now reaches its most interesting point thus far. The viewers have no indication what Kajri will do now that she has achieved her goal. She is possibly the only person who can bring Menka crashing down from Cloud Nine. Can't wait. 👏

Thanks Priya. Good topic for discussion 'New Dynamics in Garodia House'. I agree, now the story is moving to very interesting angles. Especially now that Yuvraj and Kajri are married. Menka is in for a treat from her bahu 😆 and that will be a sight to see 👏

Kajri will not be religious anymore. She did all this to become the bahu of Garodia family. Now she got what she wanted, so she will slowly start to behave like herself. Her truth will not be revealed so quickly, and i for one am happy about that, since Menka needs to suffer some more before that happens.

- What implications does this marriage have for Gauri and Durga? Do you think she'll join the rest of the gang and suppress them?
No, i think she will not suppress them. I think the scene where Durga and Gauri do not ask anything to Kajri was shown for a reason, maybe that made Kajri realise that the girls are harmless and maybe for once they will have someone on their side. Its possible that Kajri's entry into the house will prove beneficial to Savitri and the girls

- Will Kajri prove useful, or useless, to Menka's ambitions?
She will prove useless to Menka's ambitions. Menka's days of happiness are numbered. Now she needs to suffer some for all the suffering she has endured on Savitri and the girls.

- More importantly, how will Menka's relationship with Yuvraj change?
Yes, Yuvraj will start to listen and do everything what Kajri wants. He is obviously smitten by her, seconly he is scared that any wrong move from his end will make Rasili Bai spill everything, which will be very bad for him. I think eventually Rasili Bai will make Yuvraj sign over all the Property into Kajri's name.

- What about Suryakant? Will he shower her with love and affection, or will he be as indifferent to her as he is to his daughters?
Oh no, he will shower her with love and affection, because she is his adoring son's wife. But even his happy days are numbered. When he realises who is bahu really is, it is going to destroy him and his reputation drastically and he very well deserves it for treating his daughtes so indifferently right from the start.

- How do you think the truth about Kajri will be revealed?
Bhavishya is the only one who can do it now. but I'm sure he will leak the secret out to someone when he is drunk or something. And that person might reveal it.

- Will Kajri be able to give up her former life, and settle in as Garodia parivaar's dutiful bahu?
I think that's what she will try to do, to give up her former life, not to be a dutiful bahu but to work overtime in controlling the family.

- Have we seen the last of Rasili?
Oh no, she will be here and around sniffing around the Garodia house. She is going to milk this situation the most she can. To her, Yuvraj is like the hen that gives the golden egg

- What new dynamics will Kajri bring to the house? Will she be a good, religious bahu or will she finally reveal her true self?
I don't think she will be religious anymore as she wanted to become the Garodia bahu and she has become it now and doesn't need to act religious. I think in front of Menaka she will reveal more of her true colours and in front of the rest of the family she will act all nice.

- What implications does this marriage have for Gauri and Durga? Do you think she'll join the rest of the gang and suppress them?
No, I don't think she will have any problem with them... maybe she will join with Menaka for a bit to get rid of them from the house so she can be the only one ruling over the house but after that she will leave Menaka's side as well.

- Will Kajri prove useful, or useless, to Menka's ambitions?
Probably useful in the case of driving the girls out of the house but at the end Kajri will not support her as she has her own dreams.

- More importantly, how will Menka's relationship with Yuvraj change?
Kajri will keep Yuvraj in her control which will distant him from his mother. Menaka will most definately not like this.

- What about Suryakant? Will he shower her with love and affection, or will he be as indifferent to her as he is to his daughters?
I think he will shower love over her and make sure that she doesn't find anything missing etc... but when he finds out the truth about her and Yuvraj how the wedding was all planned he will be very angry and hurt.

- How do you think the truth about Kajri will be revealed?
Bhavishya is an option but there may be many people who recognise Kajri.

- Will Kajri be able to give up her former life, and settle in as Garodia parivaar's dutiful bahu?
Yea I think she will gve up her former life but not beacuse of love but to take over the Garodia house/money.

- Have we seen the last of Rasili?
No I don't think so... another thing that's just come to my mind is that probably she will help Kajri take over the Garodia house and money and when they are successful Kajri may not support her by giving her a share and that may build enemity between them which can spoil everything for Kajri.

That's quite possible. I never thought in that angle. And driving the girls out of the house would be a piece of cake for her. She would join Menka in searching for grooms for the girls. Poor things i just hope they don't end up like Saraswati, as they are more subdued out of the four of them

😊 she will reveal her true self pretty soon...she did it to marry yuvraj now that its done she doenst need the act anymore so chuck it the very first day..

😊 i odnt think she needs to supress them...coz she knows they are harmless..but as rukhyaa said..she may join hands with menkaa to get them married..even if she does that i dont think she will purposely get them married into probelamatic families as she doesnt have any kind of jealousy and envy with them like menaka has...

😊 she will prove useless,coz although she may USE menaka for her intentions she wil never do anything which doenst benefit her.. the question is other way round whether menaka will be useful for kajri or not??yes she will be used and abused by kajri...

[:)yuvraj never cared for menaka and just pretended it whenevr he needed to save himself or wanted anything..now that the so called love of his life is in the picture and into his house he will openly show his true amount of regard for his mom...will openly fight with his mom to support his wife which will make menaka feel that the only person she ever loved other than herself has ditched her.....
it was his gender which gave her a high pposition in the household..he is still her son and she can go mess up with herself!!!!!!

he loved his dotters but never showed his care coz he belives that one day they will leave his house and will find it difficult to adjust in their sasural ...if he loves them too much they will always miss him and basically that dotters shudnt be loved that much and shud only be controlled...but his bahu is not going to leave him and go..she has left her afmily and come to sty with him so he will shower his love on her...but he will still be of the opinion that women shud be kept in control so will be happy if kajri doesnt try to act amrt with him and stays in limits like a woman in his opinion shud...if she fails to do this there will be problems with him as well..

😊 enuf drama will happen before the truth gtes revealed...truth will definitely coem out..maybe bcoz so many peopel in otwn must be knwoing her and the police is also investigating..bhav also knws...it cud be any of these people but not so soon...

😊 she will give up her former life..but will strt shwoing her true colors while moving towards her goal of swallowing the whole property..

😊 she is very irritating and i wish i cud give a yes as the answer to this one...just like yuv trusts kajri,kajri trusts rasili...atleast for now.kajri cud have said a final gud bye to rasili but she wont..so as long as kajri is theer we will see rasili..

Good questions Pri😊. This week hopefully we will get to see a lot of saas-bahu fireworks both...at the Garodias as well as at Nekchand's house

Kaj will first and formost turn Yuv against his family and she will start from there, making everyone's life hell, esp Menka's, Surya's and Baa's. And so she will no longer do pooja and bhajans as that was just a means to get into the good books of the Garodias

Cannot say exactly. I would think she will just purely leave them alone as they cause no reason of panic to her, but then again she is purely focussing on ruling the house, and would like her nanads out of there sooner the better.

She will prove useless to Menka's ambitions, it may not look as such initially to Menka, but eventually when Yuv begins to slip off of her hands she will realise her huge mistake in gettting Kaj as their bahu

- More importantly, how will Menka's relationship with Yuvraj change?

Yuv will dance to every tune sung by Kaj and will do as she wants, even if it means to go against his own mom. In yesterday's episode itself,when she demanded that Rasili Bai be rescued, what did yuv do he lied to his family for Kaj and went to do as Kaj wanted. He has been lying to his family ever since he met Kaj. So matters are only going to get worse now

- What about Suryakant? Will he shower her with love and affection, or will he be as indifferent to her as he is to his daughters?

He will shower her with lots of love, but will be devastated to know later that he has been duped by his own son, whom he trusted above all

- How do you think the truth about Kajri will be revealed?

Cannot say anything now. But i think it won't be by Bhav

Oh yes, she will give up anything not to be the ideal bahu, but to work at snatching away everything from the Garodias and she will not stop till she is the owner of it all

No, i think Rasili will be around for a while, she will help kaj in destroying the family, and blackmailing yuv every opportunity she gets

Whether Kajri wil be useful for Menka or not will be found out later but she sure brought happiness (as per Menka) for Halki and now the whole family will pamper her more.

yes 😡 i read about that scene and hated it so much...i am like arrghhhhhh 😡 😡 this menaka tries to use every single thiong happenning to tell everyone how sensible and gud she is... 😡 😡 haah the way yuvraj slammed the door on her face is just the start of her gud luck 😆

Hulki's pregnancy did bring happiness to Menka.. i hated that scene too😡 I just hope they don't make Menka happy in every episode, she needs a litle more dose of insults like yesterday when Yuv slammed the door on her face.

another thing..by relating halkis pregnancy to pavitras gud luck she has added one more thing in convincing that kajri is the bahu they all wanted.....now when kajri turns agaisnt menaka the whole family will support kajri thinking how gud she is and no one will belive menaka as she is the one who convinced everyone about pavitra...she will be like all alone..shouting the truth and no one will listen..
