Epi begins with Agni entering shagun's inlaws' house with the jars Alak had sent. She bends to take ashirwaad of Maganji, when Triveni asks her for the Kundali ... Agni tries to recall where it is and says she must have forgotten it in the car and turns to go but Maganji stops her saying that he doesnt need the kundali...he just needs the time, date and place of birth of Shagun and he'll prepare it himself. Agni says, yes i can give u these details and recalls herself removing the papers from vasun's hiding place and finding the time/date etc. She thinks a bit and then gives the details-5th may 1986, 12am born in allahabad...all r a bit surprised how Agni knows these details since she is still a new daughter-in-law of this house. Agni falters a bit but replies that the other day Alak was discussing shagun's birth time saying if she had been born 1 minute late, she would have been born on 6th may...maganji just stares at her face, as if he knows that she is lying. Having said this Agni leaves.
Meanwhile, they show Sumer waiting for Shagun near his car and shagun asks him why, he replies that he wanted to see them both for the last time before he left...she asks both?? he says yes you and this, pointing to her tummy...she blushes and smiles (oh it was a very cute moment, and its the first time that i actually like Sumer in this show)...Sumer takes shagun to a bangle shop and she chooses for mil, sils and chutki (whoever she is) but none for herself and asks sumer to choose for her...he chooses some matching her turquoise sari.
There at the house, maganji makes up shagun's kundali and once it is done, he demands as to who said that Shagun's kundali has saubhagyavati yog...there is no such yog in her kundali...everyone is shocked...FIL doesnt believe it and thinks maybe agni made some mistake in the details...he himself calls up alak and confirms the date time etc with her. When she gives the details and it matches with what agni had given...FIL looks totally devastated.
Next scene maganji has left and all are gathered in the hall...FIL is in tears at this news...mil adds fuel to fire and starts her badmouthing of shagun saying her family knew about this but they gave us wrong kundali...shagun's baraat had once left her house so her family wanted to just get her married to someone so they hung her around our sumer's neck by fraud...fil is sick of mil's insults and tells her to keep quiet. just then shagun enters and is taken aback by everyone's expressions. MIL asks shagun point blank if she knew that her kundali did not have saubhagyavati yog...fil pleads with shagun to agree with him that she (shagun) did not know a thing about her kundali and was as much in the dark as them...shagun is in tears but is unable to agree with him...she says, yes i did know....FIL is terribly sad and crying and mil starts her abusing again....shagun tries to protest that she found this out only after her marriage...but mil cuts her off saying now no one will believe anything u say....fil leaves, damini smirks and leaves off, her husband follows her...mil is leaving too but sil stands there almost in support of shagun but mil pulls her too...shagun is shattered and the bangles fall from her hand and break...she collapses on the ground too in tears.
