About the Gift thing , yes thats a good point , Jalal-Jodha gave Shariff as gift to Bakshi like a husband-wife couple which is more of informal family gesture while Jalal and Ruqaiyya gave the cradle as Shehenshah and Begum-e-khaas which looked more formal to show to the world that they r Shehenshah and Malika-e-khaas ka gift 🤔 .. so yes the big diff here is Jalal considers Ruqaiyya only like a friend and begum-e-khaas while he considers Jodha more like a wife now ...
