I want Rudra to win because well for all the obvious reasons he is right. I want this to be a win win situation for both Rudra and Paro, which means no marriage and Rudra keeps his job. Rudra and Paro might both be right in their own place, but since this is a matter of national security, ignorance is not an excuse which is what Paro is playing at and it doesn't sell and so as an officer of the law Rudra scores on this. Paro has no respect or regard for the army, she is a girl from a village who thinks the nation security is held together by men like Tejawat. Rudra mistake is he underestimates how clueless Paro is about the world she really is naive as they come. Mix Paro cluelessness with Rudra's unfiltered passion and you get no solution because forget being on the same page they are not even reading the same book. Rudra passioned plea about how his men where shot and killed or that her own sister is not heard from how bizarre is that was not enough to make Paro think all she could come up with was all these allegations are bogus. You can't even blame her for this either because she is that clueless about life. Rudra's bad luck that he is trying to reason with someone who can't add one plus one. So lets see how she comes to her senses and saves the day for Rudra.

I wanted to just say a few things about the upcoming track because I have a feeling this serial is going to get even darker with the entrance of his mother. Even if somehow Paro innocence is proved to him and they can have some sort of understanding and live together peacefully how can he ever get past his mother. What his mother did is no small betrayal sleeping with a terrorist all these years yikesss try telling Rudra that he is going to blow her to smithereens. An army man who will kill those without question if he thinks you have betrayed his country having to face the fact that his own mother has been living with a terrorist wow can his life get any more worst. Whether she knew about it or not is besides the point, the fact is she did how will Rudra deal with such a taint on his honour and prestige. Can you imagine Mohini taunts and the taunts of the world my heart hurts for him already this is the most awful thing to have happened to him. Ironic losing his BSD job would have ruined him but what is coming for him in terms of his mother's truth is what is going to really destroy him.

I feel sad for this story already how can he move forward with Paro if his mother is in the picture. I wish the writers didn't bring the mother in the picture right now because it is just too devastating what he has to deal with considering his job and his passion for it having to deal with a terrorist step father too much emotional trauma for him at this stage. Who knows maybe the writers will shock us and give us romance along side his mommy issues but from what he have seen so far of him we know he is emotionally very damaged. This is a devastating truth and I don't think he is such a man who is capable of dealing with this shock in his current state of mind. I wish they had given him some chance to heal start on a journey with Paro, companionship maybe friendship something for him to smile about before dumping his mother on him. The way I see his character right now and if the writers are consistent and true to who he is then the only result of Rudra facing his mother right now could be that he will self destruct unable to control his rage because the reality is a cruel joke on him.

I am sorry to keep venting I was just surprised at how soon his mother is entering the story. I just wanted Rudra to recover from this BSD scare and breathe a sigh of relief. Maybe learn a lesson or two about how to do his job better instead of being too rash because no more changes again, maybe him and Paro can bond over both dodging a bullet, I even thought Dilsher might give the haveli to Parvathi and adopt her as his daughter to keep her in the haveli. This way Parvathi as Malkin can stay back, shut Mohini up for good, Rudra will go on with his job as investigation reopens with Paro on his side and there will be some light moments in the show. Aman and Sunheri angle can start who knows Rudra might have found all that amusing and Paro as well could have had something to laugh about. I had so many wishes but this mother track has dumped cold water on all of them and all I see is dark clouds rising for Rudra and all of us too who have to watch him be devastated, no smiling Rudra any time soon.

WOW!!! Simply WOW!!! You deserve a standing ovation!!!! Here it is 👏!!!!

Agree with EVERY word you have written here!! I have been wondering lately if you are a mind reader!!!! You read my thoughts and put them in to words beautifully!!!!! This is not the only post of yours that I have agreed with!! Ever since I saw your first post, I have been wondering!!

THANK YOU!!!

Yes, everything you have said is EXACTLY what I have been thinking about and been at a loss of words!! I staunchly stand by Rudra, no matter what!!! His devastation is going to be far more painful to watch than Paro's. Paro has been grieving the loss of her husband and her dream of a happy married life which any girl sees and can feel devastated when things don't happen. What if Paro's husband had died of some accident on their way to cross the border? What if he had died immediately after returning home with Paro? Death is a certainty that is bound to happen at some point in your life but if the soul is shattered then there is no life but just a living and breathing corpse. Death can be dealt with but soul shattering? How? It does not matter if you are emotionally strong or not. Being soul dead is the most painful thing to experience. Paro's ignorance about Thakur can actually be pardoned given her lack of exposure to the outer world to see the difference. But for Rudra, BSD, his mother, this mission and patriotism are extremely strong points to shatter him permanently beyond repair. Will Paro then be able to forgive herself for being resposnible for this damage? Will she?

Thank you, Loveanime, for your detailed comment and analysis. And sorry for the delayed response - I was running low on sleep and didn't want to respond without giving your comments the kind of consideration they deserve.
Some very profound insights as usual:
@ Rudra's mistake: Yes he certainly underestimates Paro's innocence and naivete, making assumptions based on his warped life's experience/world-view. And that will be his undoing. In the same position Aman might have adopted different tactics. But Rudra remains blind and refuses to see anything other than what he wants to. Rudra is also repeating his mistake of underestimating his opponent. He has underestimated the Thakur at least twice; underestimated Kakisa; and is now underestimating Paro. At times it seems as if the CVs have written an all-courage-and-heart-but-no-brains characterisation for Rudra. I really need him to start thinking and working from there. His emotions cannot help him just now.
@ Coming to terms with his mother's truth: Great point and completely agreed. The serial is going to get darker. If he finds out his mother's truth (that she is married to/living in with a traitor) then it will destroy him. Will Paro be able to pick up the pieces? Will he let her? At what cost to Paro?
@ A chance to heal: Agreed. I wish he'd been given a chance to heal. But then perhaps the CVs want him to hit rock bottom all at once so that he can rise like the phoenix from the ashes. Personally, I am dreading the upcoming intensely tragic track of when he gets kicked out of the BSD and meets his mother!! Perhaps the mother revelation was essential to get Paro around to believing him, so that it's her turn to feel guilty and to stick around and help him heal. Because otherwise it would just be a hate:hate relationship, and who wants to watch that.
Anyway I look at it, it seems like a lot of pain awaiting PaRud and us in the upcoming episodes. So am going to just enjoy the four days' lull before all hell breaks loose.

Loved the episode! Rudra stole my heart!! Undoubtedly won hands down for me. He has unknowingly exposed himself to Paro in his desperation. His desperation was justified, I felt. He knows very well that without BSD and the sole purpose of serving his motherland in his life, there is absolutely nothing to look forward to or turn to. Without his beloved duty, BSD, the glory of the uniform, patriotism, he has no existence at all. So why wouldn't he employ every tactic in the book to survive? Broken he may be but he has a right to survie unlike Paro who can think of suicide or unwillingness to live as a way out of her problems. Wonder if she responds like this only to Rudra or others too in her life? Why did she meekly accept the fate Raja Thankur wrote for her?

Anyway, it is a matter of preference as we look at life through our experiences! I can relate to Rudra because I think I would have reacted exactly the same way in his place.

But as you rightly said, things came together beautifully in today's episode!! Sumer is about to hit the jackpot!! Let's see how Rudra and Paro react to the calamity that is about to befall on them!! Me very excited!

Thank you Mozart. 😃
My heart beats for Rudra too!! He is at the end of his rope; falling to pieces and it's painful to see. And yet his suffering hasn't bottomed out yet. There's worse to come. It's unbearable when we know that he/his mission was in the right and that he's being punished for a crime he didn't commit. Looks like we are in for many days of pain and suffering too, and I'm dreading it.
Paro might say that she is not willing to live, but she has proved otherwise. She's quietly picked up the pieces of her life and started forging a life again - new relationships, new joys, new sorrows. She is a survivor no matter what she says. And Rudra is responsible for her newly discovered inner-strength.
The CVs have leisurely and in great detail unfolded Rudra's character to us. That is also one of the reasons it is easy to empathise with him. While Paro's virtuous innocence is that much more difficult to understand in these days of aggressive survival. I think the makers have realised it too, hence we see Paro collar-grabbing and eyeballing Rudra. I've felt for a while that this story has been told from Rudra's pov. But then they need the viewers on Rudra's side when he falls to pieces and vents on Paro.
And yes me too excited but apprehensive about the upcoming track.

Thanks I am glad you enjoy what I write heheee. I am squirming at the upcoming track I wish the writers didn't do this to poor Rudra there is too many shocks.
Shock #1: His mother did run off with another man, the betrayed child might have held on to some hope that something terrible must have happened to make her take this step that she had a good reason. Rudra has to face that his mother is an dishonorable as a woman can get.
Shock #2: Her mother's new husband, step father to him by marriage is Tejawat, a terrorist he wants to destroy. I can't imagine the horror of such a truth on Rudra, words won't do justice to the torture this will put him through. To him his mother will become a terrorist too, doesn't matter if she knew anything or not, even the audience isn't goint to buy her hogwash excuse, are u freaking kidding me after living with a man all these years how do you claim to know nothing.
Shock #3: His Kaka kept contacts with his mother and didn't tell him. For what it is worth Rudra still thinks highly of his kaka even though he doesn't show it, but Rudra is right no relation is worth trusting another betrayal for him to swallow.
Shock #4: Paro a woman he could have grown to love, he could have been content and happy with her when all the misunderstandings cleared but what will it do it to him know his traitorous mother raised her. Wouldn't he always see his mother's shadow in her, wouldn't their relation be tainted forever. After all what kind of sanskaars will she have when raised by a woman who abandoned her marriage for something rosier.
Shock #5: When his mother truth is out to the world, his position and prestige in the army would be ridiculed. All those that did not know about his mother will know once Tejawat is outed that his mother is married to at terrorist, the stigma of this to his uniform his pride and joy his everything. The humiliation he has to face due to his mother not just in his professional life but personal life, mohini kaki will have a field day.
After all these shocks are dealt to Rudra will there be anything left in this man. I hope the writers know what they are doing, there is only so much damage a human can take before he is just all destroyed. His mother has ruined his past by scarring his childhood tainting any good memory left, his present will be hell as he has to deal with her traitorous actions which will eventually cost him his sanity and what little peace he had left will be gone, his future too will go up in smoke as Paro will channel all that he fears because of his mother he will destroy her and destroy himself in the process. I have never felt more sorry for a character writers couldn't have made him any more tragic.

I know!!!!! How devastating it would be to Rudra!!!!! Poor soul won't exist anymore. Will Paro be able to piece it together? Will any of her explanations regarding the goodness of Thakurain going to be sufficient for Rudra to accept the fact that his mother married a terrorist? Why she left him, his father are not important but how come she has married a terrorist and does not know a fig about the type of business he indulges in is going to be a total breaking point for Rudra because he may be able to put his personal life aside but he will not allow his duty, his nation, his pride suffer. I shudder to think what we are in store for. If CVs want us to sympathize with Rudra, well they have succeeded in that and just the thoughts like these can make us imagine what horror will unfold on the screen for Rudra. That is one of the reasons why right from the beginning I have sympathized with Rudra more than Paro in spite of being a woman and in spite of his supposedly Jallad ways of handling Paro... only time will tell to what extent and how much Rudra is going to be destroyed in this saga...
