What I liked most - the last two "Uska Kya" from Rudra

MKM,

My theory on why Rudra is forced to hold Paro's Kalai , to pull her, to push her, to throw her over his body, to make her roll in the sand, to have a leg-O. Rudra is well aware of the previous not to be named show where the lead used to fall every episode for no reason at all.

while walking the ramp,
while in the first floor of the office,
while walking up the steps to the temple,
while roaming around the forest (into a ditch),
while climbing on a wobbly stool to get oil from the top kitchen shelf
while stuck in a collapsing building
and
...
while just standing. just standing - understand ?

But Paro .
she does not walk in the ramp
there is no first floor in BSD office
No steps in the temple
No forest around. So no ditch as well
No stool in the haveli. Rudra has to get the bottle for her
Haveli is quite strong. No chance of any damage to this building
and last but not the least
Paro...is very stable on her feet...

Even when she sprains her leg she will not fall.

Poor Rudra - what all he has to do to get some touchy touchy moments

In fact I would say that it's good that men on TV atleast are shown to express their emotions!
There is nothing wrong with it either as feelings and reactions to pain are not subject to gender differences...it's just that there is a connection drawn between macho and hiding tears and pain!

In the story Rudra donned his rough look immediately the last time Paro noticed him crying...this time it was spontaneous and he was talking about all others that were affected by the mission and that's how his mother was referred to so it was ok! She already knows and has even spoken to him about it so it wasn't a revelation as such!

yes, i simply refuse to belief that gibberish shoved down to our throat from time immemorial ''mard ko dard nehi hota"... " real macho man does not cry" etc. In reality I hav seen real strong and mature men breaking down and shedding tears.they should be absolute no sense of shame in displaying weakness and agony.

Well well well, after some bounty hunter like trackin, I find some familiar names at last... Morons ki Mallika, the legendary Vicky! Did you know that I joined the IF community after reading a posterior-igniting article from you around the time Asad and Zoya were colouring each other faces at Holi?!?!😉

I have started watching RR, just in time after Karan was no longer Asad.. He was the last thing that held me back to Qubool Hai. Khair chodiye in baaton ko.

So, here are my thoughts... Rudra is deliciously badass! Yesterdays confrontation was awesome! I actually replayed it. Kya hero hain! Was he really crying, or was he playing her? I think it largely genuine, but he was also playing her a little.

I like what Sanaya brings to Paro... Her grief is deep, her trauma all-consuming, her desperation and desolation absolute. Deep down she knows she has nowhere to go. That whole hostage captor thing ... Shades of it. At the same time, she speaks as if driven by her inner voice, not caring for nor fearing anyone when she is compelled to do so by her conscience. She brings this mystic angle to Paro!

Any bets on whether the thakurayin maasa is Rudra's long lost mother? 😉

Look forward as always to your posts. Congrats to the forum on being number one!

heyy i have no problem with men crying.. my problem was with the jallad getting emotional with the captive.. and my question was whether he would do it at every captive or only with paro.

the kal ho na ho model overacting, which , in my humble opinion, does not suit even srk, was grossly misusing the subtle acting power of ashish. for a guy who can make you see his pain( and cry with him ) with one look in his eye, this tod-phod model 'emoshun' for the sake of dramatics was a bit too much.

I feel the same for masala maasi. she can make you cry with the turn of a phrase.. why this grinding teeth and bulging eyes and altogether overdramatics? for the sake of "TRP sheeple" who dont understand the nuances of dialogues? for the interest of poor ppl who cannot think for themselves and have to have every emotion shoved down their eyeballs with "emotional" music?

maybe indian tv soaps have not evolved that much, i am expecting too much. maybe, just maybe, i wish this was one show that improved enough that intelligent people will not immediately shout bakwaas.

but well, i have always seen a bit of south indian style overdramatics in the show, from the beginning, and i am wishing for too much.

ab SKD ka SKD bananeka padi.
