Achaji...toh tamacha bhi bade pyar se maarti ho aap! 😆 I loved the sweet sarcasm u used to portray Rudra as he is...and Eve...(if I can call u that)...I am with you on this.
I really dont understand hulla bullu about this "rudra is disrespectful...rudra is not honorable...rudra is kameena...kutta...and what not"...like really...just coz most of us here may have X chromosomes in us and belong to the same gender as Paro...we want to feel more connected to her pain and understand why she is doing what she is doing simply becoz she is a woman! Feminist extremist?
Well I for one being a woman myself and seen and experienced first hand men that actually torture would still vouch for Rudra. And this I am saying as a viewer ...not from any character's POV.
From Paro's POV...yes he is the villian coz if I am in Paro's place...I would prolly call him Jallard for torturing me and my loved ones without any fault of ours. But since being a viewer and knowing Rudra's backdrop...I can see where he is coming from.
Like you say...his commitment for his country...his colleagues and his patriotism have made him a notch higher in my eyes atleast.
He is ruthless...yes...he has inhumane tactics at times...yes...but he has reason for them...and he is justified...Lots of us will never know the feeling of being deserted by a mother without a reason...most of us will never perhaps know tha feeling of being jeopardized in the society constantly for no fault at all...and thus trying to even depict the kind of people we can becum under such circumstances is even hard to do...I am still amazed how Rudra...despite despising woman so much can still feel their emotions...like he could feel the pain of that dead soldier's mom and Paro. People like him usually becum numb of any emotions...and that just tells he still has his humanity intact...just buried deep in him which he himself restrains from surfacing.
All in all...I just have to agree with you that both Paro and Rudra are at par...made for each other...both have their individual limitations...flaws and yet still are both beautiful people in their own ways...and have been forced together by destiny to bring out the worst and the best in each other so they can both balance out each other...
Their imperfections make them perfect together!

Evie...loved it...I may be in minority here but I've never hated Rudra...not once...I've loved this character from the start...and still continue to...with all his darkness and twistedness...I only see a soldier, leader of a company of brave men he led into battle, most of whom ended up dead...the burden of their lives lost that he carries on his shoulders and the pain of it in his heart.
Yes he used underhanded methods to get evidence against an enemy, who has remained hidden and has kept his crimes secret for a decade and more...his patriotic duty is being termed as a mistake and murder of innocents...his only passion in life, his duty, his uniform is about to be snatched away from him...and for what...doing his job... I think his willingness do anything and everything his power to stop that...is justified...I mean wouldn't we do something desperate as this if we're in his place.
Now, about Paro...she has no idea that she's shielding a criminal and a traitor...all she knows is that the village people worship the thakur and he couldn't be wrong...so that means rudra's wrong...but his bits of revelation about his men and the border incident does twinge her conscience but not enough to make her think back to that day and recall what she saw before she fainted. ...she's stubbornly and blindly trusting people she's known since childhood...and why shouldn't she...they're her own. ...why would she trust some stranger over her own people...only way out of this is if before the 4 day deadline ends thakurs men try to kill paro...and his truth becomes known to paro...only then will she consider going against her people.

I've liked all the facets the CVs have been giving to paro's character...and the best one is yet to come...her empathy for rudra has been shown in glimpses. ...but today she really took a long, hard and a deep look into rudra's psyche...how will it change her opinion of him, her handling of him, her understanding of him...is what I'm most looking forward to.

as usual excellent post eve... 👏

Very well said!!! 👏

Exactly!! Marriage feels like a dead end only if its real 😆, otherwise its just a pretext to fit in some romance in the story, as the Indian background does not leave much scope otherwise. Its just a way of moving the story forward, by bringing the two leads in proximity, thus, the scenes we drool over 😃!! Marriage doesn't bother me either.

Hi Eve,

Nice post to a nice episode.😊

The villain that you are talking about has met his match in none other than Paro. I wonder how many women have held Major's collar and questioned him? 😛He is in for a big shock from the lady tomorrow and after watching today's episode the famous saying comes to my mind.

"Mirror, Mirror who is the smartest of all"?

When Paro goes into questioning mode, her expression changes making it such a powerful performance.👏 Fabulous acting from both leads.

The villain has met a worthy vamp u mean 😆!! Men like Rudra would never fall for weak women, may be that's the reason Laila in spite of giving 8 years of her life, was unable to win him over. While our silent and strong beauty has penetrated his defenses in 8 days !!
Paro's silent strength of character will slowly bring him on his knees!! And about their performances...what do I say...no one could have played Rudra and Paro better...no one!! They are fantabulous!!
