Part 17:

Arjun was about to kiss her when a phone made a ring.

This brought both back to reality.it was riya's phone. She look on caller id. And her face colour changed. From scared to tension , from nervous to worry.

She hurried ly attaend the call.

Riya(on call): what??/ okk mai abhi ati hu/...

Arjun noticed her every action and reaction. He find something wrong as she was looking much tensed.

Arjun: what happened riya??

Riya: sir I need to go...

Arjun: kanha??

Riya: I need to go sir..

She was about to leave.

Arjun: wait... riya main bhi ata hu tumhare sath...

As soon as she attended the call her facial expressions changed. From scare to tense and from nervous to worry. Arjun noticed her facial expressions change and finds something fishy. He insist to go with her. First she refused but arjun is arjun. So finally she noded her head in yes.

Both left for place. Riya directed arjun toward place and he drove as per her direction. Both reached to a small house. She hurriedly came out from car and run in house. Arjun too ran behind her. House was totally dark from inside. Small light was on. One old lady of age around 50-55 was there. Riya goes to her and arjun just followed her without any question. Riya asked that lady.

Riya to lady: kya hua kaki?? Wo thik to hai na??

Kaki: pata nahi bas sirf chikhe jaa rahi hai wo.

Riya: me dekhti hu kaki.

Riya opens one door knob and enters. There one girls in her late twenties was standing with one flower vaze in her hand ready to throw it. Arjun too look in room as riya opened the door. She entered and that girl shouted.

Girl: door raho.. pass mat ana ... varna maar dungi me... Dur raho...

She throw vaze in riya's direction. It just missed and riya was safe. If it had hitted riya she would have been hurt very badly. But riya didn't stop and took a step toward the girl.

Riya: bhaudi...

Arjun was plain confuse and was even utterly shocked by riya's calling that girl bhaudi(bengoli of bhabhi).

Girl: mene kaha na dur raho...

Riya: bhaudi.. me hu.. riya... apki riyu bhaudi.

The girl was riya's sister in law. Her bhaudi.

Girl: pass mat ana. Meri riyu ke pass bhi mat ana varna mar dungi me... dur raho.

But riya didn't stop she continued to step toward her.

Riya: bhaudi me riya hu. Koi nahi marega apki riyu ko. Bhaudi suno to...

Girl get some thing hard like in her hand she throw it in her direction. It hit riya's fore head and she get hurt. She screams slowly.

Riya: aah...

Hearing her scream that girl come in sense. She stood there still and was now little calm. She immediately recognize her. Arjun was now not in any sense. He rush to her hold her hand and ask her.

Arjun: riya... are u ok riya??/

Seeing arjun near riya she again get out of control and was about to hit him but riya caught her hand and ask arjun to leave room.

Riya: arjun sir plz aap bahar jayie. Plz me bhi ati hu. Par plz aap bahar jayie.

Arjun: but riya. She could hurt u.

Riya(little angrily): sir. Wo meri bhabhi hai. she cant hurt me. (composing her self) sir aap bahar jayie me abhi ati hu.

Arjun goes out of room but he stare in room as what is going on.

Riya composes her bhaudi. That girl hug her very tightly as if securing riya from everyone. Riya make her calm down and patts her back. The girl was now calm and was going unconscious. Riya support her made her lay on bed. She caresses her hair and cover her with quilt. She arranges the messed room. Pick up one photo frame and come out of room and signals kaki to take care of bhaudi.

She come to arjun and put photo frame on table beside. He was looking at her like "puchna padega???"

Arjun: riya???

Riya: sir wo meri bhaudi(bhabhi) hai. piyali... piyali vikram mukherjee.

She took photo in her hand and show it to arjun. He see photo. In photo one boy and one girl were there totally messed with colours.

Riya(with teary eyes): ye mere bhaiya hai. vikram dada. Vikram mukherjee. Raw agent the.

Vikram Mukherjee:

Arjun: the???

Riya(tears roll down her eyes): wo aab iss duniya me nahi hai.

Arjun was shocked to core. She too had lost her loved one. She actually can understand his pain. He remembers his harsh word that she can't understand his pain. But actually she can.

He stares at her.

Arjun: kya hua...(he chocked ) kya hua tha unke sath???

Riya starts telling him every thing.

Riya: uss din bahot khas din tha. hum sab bahot khush the. Bhaiya ko medal milne wala tha. unhone ek bahot bada recket, drug dealing ka recket pakadwaya tha. unhone undercover kaam karke sab kuch pakadwaya tha. aur uss din unhe unki baha duri ka medal milne wala tha. ma , baba ghar pe nahi the. Tab me sirf 19 saal ki thi. Apne bhaiya bhabhi ke ankho ka tara thi. Hum sab ready hoke function me jane ki taiyari kar rahe the. Par shayd kismat ko kuch aur hi manzoor tha. achnak se ghar pe firing start ho gayi. Bhaiya alert ho gaye aur unhone bhi firing start ki. Par wo log bahot sare the. Hum sab pakde gaye. Aur unhone haiya ko maar diya. Muje chot lagne ki wajah se me behosh ho gayi thi. Unhe laga me mar chuki hu. Unhone muje chod diya. Bhabhi ko bahot mara. Aur wo bhaiya ki maut ka sadma bardast nahi kar payi aur tab se...

She couldn't speak futher. She was sobbing and crying bitterly. Arjun put his hand on her shoulder and she break down in his arms. He immediately hugged her and calm her. He patts her back and she was crying bitterly. Even arjun was teary. He didn't knew that she had faced this much in such small age. She was indeed very brave. He was just hugging her and giving her all strength to bear this pain. They remained like this for long time. After long time he parted from her as he felt her little bit relieved. He cupped her face and show worst sight. Her eyes red and swellon. Her face pale. He wiped her tears. He actually didn't knew how to console her. He had no words to console her. He knew the pain of losing someone u love most.

Arjun: riya!!! Its ok... I know tum kya feel kar rahi ho. Me uss dard se guzar chukka hu. Samjaz sakta hu tumahre dard ko. Mehsus kar sakta hu wo pain. But u have to strong. For ur bhaudi. Aur me tumahre sath hu riya. Hamesha .

Riya look at him. She just stares him. Neither she could say something nor she was able to respond.

Arjun again hug her. She let him hug her. She felt comforted in his arms. So she let him do that.

Arjun: riya me tumhare sath hu. Hamesha tumahre sath hu. Chahe koi ho ya na ho me har kadam pe tumahre sath hu.

Riya just hug him back tightly feeling comforted by his concerned word ehich she knew he actually mean that. She knew him that he never say anything which he didn't mean. What he say he mean it. She felt secure in his arms. He too didn't stop riya for hugging him.

He take her to car not leaving her. Made her sit in car and drove back to home. He took her in her room and ask her to sleep. She refused to that but he made her lay on bed and cover her with quilt and sat beside her bed and started caressing her hair. She was looking at him and he was looking to her. Both didn't utter a word till now nor in whole ride. Finally riya speak.

Riya: thank you sir. Aaj shayad apse baat karne ke baad muje thoda achha lag raha hai. mera sath den eke liya thanks sir.

He put his finger on her lips and stops her from thanking him.

Arjun: no riya. U don't need to thank me. Aaj tak tumne muje har kadam apr sath diya hai. wese hi me bhi tumare har kadam pe tumhare sath hu. Aur muje tumhe sorry bhi bolna chahiye.

Riya: sorry???

Arjun: haan. Uss din mene anjane me hi tumhe bahot hurt kiya tha. bina jane ke tumne kya saha hai. tumse bahot buri tarah behave liya tha aur bahot kuch sunaya bhi tha. I am really sorry riya. Plz muje maaf kar dena. Mene tumhe bahot hurt kiya tha. I am really sor.

Before he could complete she put her hand on his mouth and stop him from apolozing .

Riya: no sir. Usme apki koi galti nahi thi. Uss vakt aap jis halat me the. Koi aur hota to shyad wo bhi yanhi sochta aur fir apko pata bhi nahi tha. to apko sorry kehne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. aur aap muje kabhi hurt nahi kar sakte.

She assured him and told him to not to say sorry again.

Arjun nodded and told her to sleep. He made her sleep and went to his room. Riya was now feeling quite good so after some time she slept still she was very upset but was quite relieved.

But arjun was far away from sleep. After facing riya's past he was now very sad. He had never thought that she had hide this much of pain in her smile. He had seen pain in her eyes but had never thought horrible past like this. He was continuously thinking about riya. He saw her today in a very weak condition , he had seen her that face which shook him to core.
