Part 1

He was a notorious jerk and jock. We had fallen in love in High School. We went to College together; he had managed to obtain a decent result after failing each and every class, especially the remedial classes of mathematics.

We would sit and revise till six in the library of the school. Of course, Maan being the jock he was swore never to enter a library before. Rumour had it that the library would collapse the day MSK would enter it. It was funny to watch people judging him without even knowing him. Well; I guess I was one among these people.

I had judge him of being a rich jerk who did not give a shit to anyone but instead he turned out to be a softie with problems which he did the best to hide.

From babysitting, to pillow-fights with my friends, the coffee-incident in the cafeteria of the school to the weird glittery feelings one would get; I had fallen for him, and when I fell, I fell hard. Really hard.

We started college together, but we did not share dorms. Apparently he thought that my family was too old-fashion to think that two persons in a relationship sharing dorm was not exactly normal. I was glad though, because I could barely contain myself ogling at him and sharing a dorm was way too far.

How many times had I embarrass myself in front of him?

Counting the time, he caught me drooling over Matt Lanter, which I had lied obivously, I was drooling thinking of him, with saliva and all; but I knew he knew that I was lying. Or the time he caught a hair in his sandwich I had prepared for him. Gross, right? Or maybe the time when I wore my worn out grey jeans, which was black at first but watching it so many times made it grey with 'Hello Kitty' shirt on one of our dates. I was surprised he had not broken with me yet.

We were currently attending Priya's wedding. Yes, five years later.

Let's say Priya's would-be husband in five minutes had a lot of difficulty to convince her to accept their love considering he was a well-known player. Well, Nikki, let's say she moved really fast. I wondered why I never saw how Nick, Maan's hunch man, well, the guy practically worshiped Maan had feelings for Nikki. Let's say I was really blind, for Joshinee kept telling me when they would bicker about everything and anything, if Nick ever hurt her, he would apologise immediately feeling guilty. Well, it's not like they ever thought they would fall in love with each other! They took more time than me to realise that! Ignorant much? As far as Josh, both her and her fiance; he works in a hotel as the owner, had an arrange marriage, they had fallen for each other after a couple of dates.

Sadly Maan never proposed. Yes, he did told me, he loved me sometimes or another, but we never really reach the topic of having a home together. Many times we reached it, but never discussed him more than five minutes. I was quite disappointed. Well, yeah, I was obssessed with the guy. I could be his stalker!

"What are you thinking so hard, love?" he whispered in my ears.

I shivered; you know the good kind type.

"About Priya" I said omitting some of the truth. I did not want to embarrass myself.

Maan was dropping me off to my house after the wedding was over.
"Well, I was hoping to ask you" he said fidgeting in his seat as he gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"Yeah?"

"Will you do the honour of marrying such a fine piece of artwork naturally gifted by God to mankind?" he asked holding a Harry Winston.

I stare at him, my mouth wide-opened, catching flies.

"Well, I would have prefer a more honorable way but being impatient..." he trailed off, a pink tinge appearing on his cheeks! Oh my god! He's blushing!

I still stare at him unable to form a word like a retard.

"You know you should say 'my dear Maan, I have loved you the whole of my existance, I would be glad to marry you!'. Yeah, that will do" he laughed as I blushed.

"Shut up, and yes, I will marry you".
