I would be lying if I were to say I did not enjoy Rudra throwing the googly at Chacchi. 👏
That's Rudra the destroyer. He grabbed a golden opportunity thrown at him, no time to think, take it or leave it, turns around, split-second decision and he declares the wedding as preponed by four days. He made this declaration from being overconfident that Paro would say a NO and sign off the statement against Tejawat.
Never mind if he were to lose his palatial house, look like a fool and be thrown out after four days. He wasn't here to win battles with Chacchi. He was here for the sole purpose of bringing Tejawat down.
He knows how the BSD works, but he has never followed protocol. He goes against the law to do what he has to do.
Even when he announced they did not have the funds for a wedding, he wasn't ashamed to say so. His enemy is not Chacchi, nor Paro, it's the people working against his land. He has no personal vendetta against anyone. No silly scores to be settled.
Now coming back to Paro. The day Paro returned back to the haveli she gave her soul to the Devil. When she looked into Rudra's eyes and said, "Dekhte hai" she was clueless as to what extent Rudra could go to achieve what he wanted from her. She stood tall that day.
Today she bears the brunt of that move. There are no winners here.
Dilsher had asked that day, "Are you smart or naive?"
I would say she was naive. Because were she smart enough she would let Rudra handle the Mighty Tejawat himself. And if Tejawat is innocent as she believes him to be, then why fear, he would bring the Jallad down.
As being firm in her belief that Tejawat is innocent, she can sign and see where his investigation is leading to. Tejawat would come clean if he is innocent. He was a powerful man as well. After all Rudra and his armed men had to turn back that day from Birpur empty-handed.
Also I feel the announcement will be made but a marriage might not happen. Its created the right kind of buzz, good and bad...and the timing is perfect...when rival shows are over and done with overdosed valentine day flavors.
But if the wedding happens Paro would have sold her soul but ripped apart Rudra's too. She would destroy his lifeline.
The aftermath of it - He would hold her responsible for his destruction and there would be repercussions. And I foresee even a change in Dilsher's attitude towards her. For Dilsher...Rudra's uniform outweighs a lot more than those soft rotis.
But at the same time it also gives Rudra the chance to make and break his own rules, work outside of protocol. He is not answerable to anyone anymore. I would say a one-man army. Search for Nandini and bring her to Paro.
What happens then? What would Paro feel when she realizes she unknowingly sold her soul to the Devil and robbed a soldier of his dignity whilst killing his mission to seek the real truth. She is the same woman who turned around and told Rudra that day, "I will not go against my country and nor will I allow anyone to do so."
The question is who is the Real Devil?
The Devil in a sheep's skin or the Man in a Uniform that screams murder!
This would be Paro's journey ...
Hugs

P.S. For all those Rudra droolers WONLY! This lone ranger on his Phatphatiya oozes oodles of attitude compared to all those billionaire/millionaire soot boot waale, copters and merc waale heroes giving them a run for their money! 😉
