Arbaaz Ali recalls his school days with Abhishek Bachchan, as the former gets ready for his wedding today

Arbaaz Ali Khan, youngest son of legendary actor, the late Ajit, wishes his school friend Abhishek Bachchan well as he weds today. Arbaaz recalls his days at The Bombay Scottish School (where Abhishek and he studied). And no, he's not upset at being left out of the grand wedding celebrations.

Arbaaz recalls, "I was a couple of years senior to him. I remember that Abhishek had enrolled in the school in the late 70's. He was a very quiet kid and always kept to himself. Teachers would often talk about him being an intelligent student. Also, he never had any disciplinary issues. Now, when I hear and read about him playing pranks on the sets it surprises me no end. I can never believe that Abhishek can be a prankster."

Arbaaz was briefly associated with ABCL, Amitabh Bachchan's company, when he made his debut with Mrityudatta in 1997 opposite Karisma Kapoor. "I was later on signed by

ABCL for my debut in Mrityudaata. Abhishek wanted to study for an MBA then. However, he was happy that I was making my debut with his production house. Some years later, I bumped into him (just after Refugee released) but there were no starry airs about him. He behaved like a normal newcomer. I met him last at the funeral of his grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan and we merely exchanged pleasantries. I have not been in touch with him since them as we both are caught up with work. I respect his family very much. When my father expired, Amitabh Bachchan had sent a hand-written letter to offer condolence," Arbaaz says
