I can understand that a show is for entertainment but a show, a book, a film or any such thing does not stand alone. It comes from a culture and reflects a culture. And it is enjoyed in a cultural context. It is not necessary that a person from another culture enjoys kaki sa as much as we are enjoying her. So I think it important that we think what is saying about our society, it's institutions like family, marriage, role of men and women. It does send out messages that leave an impression.
Hence, for me, it is interesting to see, analyse and interpret what a show is trying to say to me. I would not tell a CV what they should show, but I would reserve the right to talk back if I am worried about something that is shown.
