Ajay-Kajol win one crore!

Ajay Devgan and Kajol , one of the most admired married couples in Bollywood, reportedly won the hefty sum of Rs 1 crore on the hot seat of Amitabh Bachchan -hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati 2.

Just last month we saw Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta walk away with Rs 50 lakh from the show. And now, Ajay and Kajol also appeared on the show and walked away with double the amount.

Earlier, only Ajay was slated to appear on the show. He is an avid newsreader and has good understanding of matters related to general knowledge. However, it was the host Mr. Bachchan who insisted that Kajol too accompanied Ajay on the show. Kajol, although not an avid newsreader, has a good IQ.

And the couple's intelligence did bear fruit on the hot seat when they reportedly won the big amount of Rs. 1 Crore, becoming the first celebrity to win such a hefty amount in the revived version of the show.

Another Bollywood pair, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu , also appeared on a different episode of the show. But the two reportedly managed to win the amount of Rs 25 lakh only.

The Ajay-Kajol episode of KBC 2 will be aired on September 18.

John-Bipasha episode will be aired in October.
