Okay, let's get it over with, the episode cannot live up to expectations as they did not show the beloved precap scene .
However, have patience as they were still some nice parts to today's episodes so will jump right to my take 5.
(1) Let me start in the reverse starting with the precap: The precap will happen for sure. They have shown the same precap twice before- if I remember right, for example, during the suicide track with Jalal saving Jodha. They will not show the same precap twice if they plan to delete it AND whenever, they have shown the same precap twice it has been well worth the wait. Sabar ka pal hamesha meetha hota hai ... So, though its difficult let's give the CVs one more day. More below on how I believe the precap will play out.
(2) Tarazu scene: I love it when the Tarazu is back as it always leads to some heartfelt discussions between Jalal and Jodha and reflect how well balanced this couple is. What I loved with Jodha's appeal to Jalal it was not all emotional pleas but had logic as well referring to how he never wanted to punish an innocent and the Adham Khan case. In addition, I am glad that Jalal just did not forgive Bakshi Bano just because Jodha wanted it but because of her sound reasoning. Jalal should always use his own heart / brain to as well when making decisions- and I am glad he is.
(3) The bonding between Jalal and Bakshi Bano. The reunion between the two was done beautifully and subtly as Jalal held Bakshi Bano from falling. I felt it was not OTT and the forgiveness was understood by his gesture and concern. Beautifully displayed. At the same time, I liked Bakshi Bano's clear repentance at her reaction. I am also glad forgiving Bakshi Bano was separated from Sharif as they are two separate issues. It will happen, but I am glad Sharif was not released today.
(4) The conversation between the eyes between Jodha and Jalal: I loved how Akdha spoke to each other in Bakshi Bano's room. Jodha's eyes were moist in her pranaam as she recognized the brother and sister reconciled. Jalal acknowledged her feelings with a subdued adaab. You could see a clear emotional connect between them. I believe that Jalal will go talk to his Jodha Begum on this topic and continue their eye conversation and that is when the precap scene will happen.
(5) Maham is our new shaguni bhai- I don't know why, but I had the sense that Maham Anga has given up on Ruqs winning over Jodha. She acknowledged that she can see it soon that Jodha will win over Jalal's heart and that will happen very soon. I don't know why she had a non-evil smile at this. Not sure hat is cooking ... but this is one time I hope Maham is right.
