"Hey thats my ball," I screamed in my loudest pitch .
ohk... okay he said looking at me with an expression I couldn't understand.
"Hi I am Kartik and u are Mrs...?"
My face became crimson . I wanted to shout " I am not married ...U idiot. Do I look so old?"
but of course i manged to somehow control my outburst .
" I am Pari and i am not...".
"Yeah I know u arent married" and before I knew he had gone. I am not sure if I heard a chuckle as if he was enjoying himself seeing me go red.
Anyways with my ball and racket along with Samantha, I went back home.
OH... well let me introduce myself...
I am Pari Chavan , 23 years old,a petite primary teacher.
It was a sunday and a holiday so thought to play tennis and when I went there .. to my suprise again I saw him playing there. Of course being a coward , instead of playing, I turned and was about to go back home when I heard a familiar voice "Mrs. ...Pari...HEYA.."
I turned back and was about to give him some peace of mind, when he suddenly muttered...
"I am sorry Pari. Its just that I love the blush in your face when u get all angry and shy."
I know I should have punched him but somehow his words sounded sincere so I let it go...
I dont know why.. but I dreamt about him after going him. it sounds silly but sometimes there is no explanation.
My friend Samantha started having a crush on him. we both had met him at the same time in tennis court.
she wanted me to keep a close tab on him and become his best friend so that I can help her to get him. well I found this idea totally insane but for my friend I agreed to do it.
After two months I and kartik became good friends. He used to talk to samantha too but his eyes were always on me.
One day all three of us went for a movie. Of course it was his plan to take me only but I insisted unless samantha also comes I wont go anywhere.
That day after the movie he proposed me in front of samantha. I was shocked, astonished and perhaps a bit happy(may be even i has unwillingly fallen for him).
I was dumbstruck and didn't know what to say. When i averted my gaze toward samantha, she looked at me with such venom that tears started falling from my eyes. I know she misunderstood me. she thought on the pretext of helping her I manged to make her love mine.
She stomped and left me there with him. He of course couldn't understand whats going on..
but I politely but firmly told him that we can never be together. "samantha likes you and if u really love me then please ask her out."
"are u mad? When i love u, why should i go out with her", he bellowed .
"IF U LOVE ME, PLease LEAVE ME FOREVER" and with that I left him with tears and went away forever from them, Infact left the country too for three years and when I returned back .. 6 months before..
I heard thegood news from a mutual friend that kartik and Samantha are happily married with their first child and have named her PARI...😊
