In literature there is a notion that human heroes are flawed and their flaw
is their own undoing. The human hero grows in wisdom about self and
about the world through the pain which is a result of his failure, sin and
as a reminder of his failure will keep him far from sin in the future.
This is not a Jai Walia bashing post. It simply is a discussion on the one
choice that he made that lead to the darkest hour of his life, his fall from
grace: His sin. With a sound mind snatching the newborns away from
Bani, the mother, thus snatching Bani's right of a mother away from her.
She never was given a chance to bond with her newborns. (Please do not
discuss legalities here or the madhouse situation—that is not the issue-
we are discussing only his actions)
(At this point Bani still trusted him, based on the look she gave him. He
could have passed her a note. Or a look. Or since he is a powerful
businessman made arrangements for her. He had promised noone would
ever separate them and he will always protect her. He could have said
something unless he was wire tapped by Repto--He still decided to be
cruel hearted and took the children away while leaving her dumfounded,
to be taken back to the mental asylum)
Can any woman ever imagine that, her rich and powerful husband, the
man whom she loved with all her heart and soul, the man she trusted with
all her life was not even able to provide her an explanation as to his
actions.
We are aware of the choices presented to him. He chose to send Bani to
the mental asylum for 5 years in order for her to be kept alive, (he should
have known better by now that Repto was out for Bani's life, she would
have killed her after JP marriage). Repto just wanted Bani alive to use as
leverage for her blackmail. Repto eventually would have killed Bani. What
does one call what Repto did to Bani if not a 'murder'?
There was a scene last week with two newborns on the bed crying and
Maasi walks in and Jai Walia blames God for what is happening. (God has
blessed this man with more resources than a normal person could ever
imagine). That's natural most of us would blame God but then most of us
would try to be proactive. Finally, when he hears of Bani's death, he
kneels infront of God and again blames God.
(Jai Walia had the resources to call the women's organization to halt JP
marriage but he couldn't find the resources to send an explanation to his
own wife-thats all Bani wanted was an explanation for his actions).
In the 5 year leap episode Maasi is shown praying to God day and night
for forgiveness for what Jai Walia did to Bani. Yes, he is responsible for
snatching the children away from their own mother and he is responsible
for Bani's hatred, her vengence. He was her husband. Her God. Her
Ram.
Bani's new avatar is of *Durga – the Mother Goddess. Her role is no
longer of Sita, the wife. Durga comes back for her children, for her haque
as a mother. Jai Walia could have done more for his wife –yes he could
have, he should have, and we know he would have but the creatives tied
his hands up—why? (We are not discussing the Repto blackmail here—
just simply reflecting on the actions of a husband, a man relating to that
particular scene in question and the aftermath of that action which he has
to has to live with everyday of his life)
The Sin of Jai Walia is that of tearing the newborn children of a mother
away from her. Why do you think he was given this scenario by the
creatives? How are the creatives ever going to explain this scenario? Why
was there such a need by the creatives to massacare this character, What
and Who for? The Repto?.
*Durga is an incarnation of Devi, or the mother Goddess a unified symbol
of all divine forces. Durga means "invincible" in Sanskrit. She is a warrior
goddess to destroy evil, cruelty.
We are just just as disappointed as any JB fan on this forum regarding
what the creatives have done to Jai Walia and are trying to discuss the
need of this particularly cruel, brutal action of a husband.
