Loved the episode today!!⭐️⭐️ An emphatic set of answers delivered to satisfy the most fastidious in the audience, in the most unfussy manner possible by Paro.
She comes to his room with haldi lep to apply to his wound as he sleeps. At her first touch his military instincts and training kick in and he tackles her to the bed, before realizing who it is. To a rattled Rudr's Hail Mary pass of a question,
" Mein wohi jallad hoon jisne tere naam ke pati ko goli maari thee...phir kyun hain parwaah merei?"
she replies:
"Kyunki voh chot manne lagni thee aur aapne apne opar le lee...Jeene ka ab zyaada shauq nahin hai manne...lekin har pal yeh soch kar nahin marna chaahti ki aapka maare oopar koi ehsaan hai"
She prepared the balm for his physical pain...because he got hurt on her account, ergo she should be the one to provide the salve, to even the scores. Else she would be in his debt and that would be like dying a thousand deaths.
But she does not stop there...With the quiet courage of conviction, she proceeds to reiterate her innocence, proclaim her patriotism.
"Mein nirdosh hoon...aur aaj nahin toh kal aapko yeh pata chal hi jayega..." leaving the part "then we'll see..." unsaid.😃
A word about Major Sa...he be melting. 😃The fire and brimstone has no choice but to subside in the face of such conviction, such strong, yet simple arguments. In his heart he knows that she is innocent, but the years of conditioning that beautiful women are treacherous, will be hard to completely go away. If anything, this fractional melting is very dangerous. If he begins to soften a little privately, and then finds some proof/circumstantial evidence against her, his MU will return multi-fold...and poor Paro will have hell to pay.
I really liked Rudr-Paro dynamics today⭐️ There was lot of emotion, lot of verbal back and forth that never really amounts to much when the protagonists are two equally strong personalities... but at some basic, silent level there was communication. Rudr listened to Paro...internalized her contentions, and perhaps recognized who she is and what she has come to mean to him. Yay!! 😃
