The makers of Kasamh Se are pondering over the new look to be given to Prachi Desai aka Bani in the serial after it has taken a five year leap. In the coming episodes, Bani is expected to take revenge from her sister, husband and other relatives who conspired against her and snatched away everything from her. For this, one line of thinking is to give her the look of Durga, who will definitely be saree clad. However, the actress herself prefers a trendy look which might be compatible with Ronit Roy's trendy looks in the serial. As Prachi Desai says, ' After the generation leap, I will be the mother of a cute child. I do not know what kind of look I will be given. They are considering both the looks.' It may be recalled that Prachi's current look is that of a white saree clad woman who is residing in a mental asylum, but the response she has received for this look is tremendous. People feel immense sympathy for her as she had been betrayed by her own family and thrown in the asylum. |
Unhappy Mother article was also there from last week in the Magazine...just in case someone didn't read it....
Prachi Desai aka Bani of Zee TV's popular show ' Kasamh Se' is very unhappy about her new avatar of motherhood in coming days. She has just started her career and even not completed 20 years and being bulldozed by the Balaji bosses to play a mother on small screen. She had started her career at the young age of 17 and this year appeared for her board exams from Pune University.
As the actress explains, ' I hate the idea of playing a mother. I am just 18 and the mere thought of what lies ahead in the show gives me goose bumps. It was quite depressing when we (Ram Kapoor and herself) had a two hour narration with Nivi (Nivedita is the creative head). She told me that we were to have kids. It looks so sad to have a child with a 40-year old man when you are just 18.'
But ultimately, she will have to give in to the persistent demands from the production house. The actress is intelligent enough to know that whatever is wanted by public is shown by the channels and made by the production houses like Balaji. Good luck Bani, the mother!
IS IT REALLY ABOUT WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS? they always say that, but do they really mean it.....just wondering....
