Loyal viewers of Khauff Begins Ringa Ringa Roses on Life OK, here is a piece of new for you all!!!

There is a great deal of confusion about the supernatural show produced by Somersault Productions, which has not been on air from 16 January.

One of the lead actors Megha Gupta says that her comeback show has taken a seasonal break and will come back after a while. However, she did not specify as to what the time frame for the return will be.

Well, readers of Tellychakkar.com will remember that we had carried a story recently where the main lead Sameer Soni had told us that the show has taken a 4 weeks break to rework things, as the project was rating poorly. Sameer had then blamed the weekend late night (Fri- Sat 11 pm) slot and heavy duty horror content for the poor numbers.

His views were seconded by Megha who said, "I too believe these above factors were indeed responsible for what went wrong. It was so gory that my own family members were turned off."

However when we spoke to a channel source the response we got was that there was no question of a Season 2. The show was penciled only for 16 episodes which have been already aired and the story had met its logical end.

When this point was told to the actors, one of them who did not want to be named said, "Even now we are being told that the show is being re-worked. However I did feel something was amiss when I was told that I could take up better work, if it did come along."

The same actor also added, "Low TRPs alone can't be held responsible, for even other daily shows on Life OK were not rating more than 0.4-0.5. Hence there may be something more than what meets the eye."

However, when contacted, Producer Majid Azam, Somsersault Productions said, "No the show has not gone off air, it is only on seasonal break. Season two is being written."

Well, we can surely say that there is something amiss here. We smsed Life OK channel head Ajit Thakur but he did not revert till the time of filing this article. If he responds, we will update this space in a jiffy.
