The episode begins with Devyani speaking to her father about her fears. She says she is scared if she will be able to become part of such a large family. He encourages her saying she can do it. She says the family she is about to join is big and she doesnt want to hurt them.
Back to Mumbai, Raman and Anshu are talking. Raman tells Anshu that he doesnt want to be a part of this lie. Anshu tries to convince him but he doesnt listen. He asks Anshu the reason for this lie. Anshu says he has a reason and if he doesnt help him it will be a problem for him and Jasmeet. Muskaan also tries to convince him but at the end Anshu manages to do it. Jasmeet comes and says sorry to them for the trouble caused to them. At that time Kaki and Shaurya come and Raman gets along with them.
Back to SS Naksh and Daddaji are playing video games. Naksh is a bit angry. Daddaji notices it and questions him but before he could answer Babhima comes and shows the jewellery they got for Devyani. Seeing the jewellery Naksh gets and idea. He goes towards the jewellery box and takes the mangalsutra. He says to himself that without this marriage wont happen.
Rajahree and Vishamber are talking about Naksh's dislike towards Devyani. Back to SS, Akshara is not feeling well Naitik is shown taking care of her. He asks her not to take any more stress and just relax. He assures her that he will take care of everything.
In the temple Babhima is shown talking to the preist about Devyani. She mentions that Devyani doesnt have any children and its good because if she did it might have caused a problem in the marriage. Devyani hears it and is shocked. She realises her father didnt tell them the whole truth.
Back to SS Naksh is talking on the phone to Yash about Devyani. Akshara comes and explains to him to behave well with Devyani as she is like their mother. She tells him not to do anything that will embarras them.
Devyani comes home and confronts her father about lying. She says he shouldnt have hidden such a fact from them. Her father says what's the point of talking about those kids who dont care about you and whom havent bothered to see their mother in last 20 years. She says no matter what she will tell them the truth as it will be worse if they find out from someone else.
In SS Bauji calls Akshara and gives her some things which belongs to Gayatri and asks her to look after it carefully. Akshara takes it and keeps it in his cupboard. He admits that he didnt know what to do as its very hard for him to part ways with these things. Akshara asks him to cherish those sweet memories. Bauji accidently switches on the radio and a song comes on its the same song he danced to on Gayatri's 50th birthday. He teaches her the dance. Babhima and Naitik pass by and see this. They hope that Devyani will be able to look after him.
