She was adopted and that is a very sensitive topic to her. An orphan knows the pain and she reacted to that...that was a natural instinct. For ailment she was defending a woman who resembles to her as her mamisa but be rest assured Rudra will let her know her identity very cruelly on Monday...I saw the video. What surprises me that she still goes to tend his wound.

I AGREE WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO GO AND TEND HIS WOUND WHEN HE DESTROYED HER WHOLE LIFE AND HE IS HER WORST ENEMY .I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY HUMAN BEING ON THIS EARTH WHO IS SO COMPASSIONATE AND LOVING TO THE PERSON WHO DESTROYED HER LIFE ACCORDING TO HER SO IT DOES SOUND STRANGE AND WIERD FOR HER CHARACTER

hey
dunno if its been mentioned before there were too many replies to scout thro them. but i wanted to mention in reference to "aap kay naam ka uthaya hai" methinks that scene was to denote that it has happened once before with Laila where she says "ann ka appman" Rudra dint care to retrace his steps and finish his food. But with Miss Sexy Kamariya (i mean seriously this girls gotta some awesom curves) he lets her serve as well as eats wot shes served. I think that is what was being showed in that scene.

Baat to bikul sahi kahi apne. Kahan vo dari sehmi Paro aur kahan ye himmatwali Basanti. Pehle to muh main itni bhi zubaan nahi thi ki bina char baar puuchhe apna naam bhi bataye aur ab MAithli jija ka sath dene khadi ho gayin. Yahan tak ki Mausami kaki ka mausam bigad diya.
I understand that Paro is a good person at heart and feels bad for Maithali but bhai apni history geography ka parda fash kiye bhi bina kuchh kaam kiye ja sakte hain. Aur jab apni biology aur psychology dono khatre main hon to muh band rakhne main hi bhalai hai.
The transition was a little too fast according to me but I am not saying that I don't like this Paro.
This one has much more spirit and Sanaya as usual is brilliant.

M&M love your posts always...sometimes I comment and sometimes I don't.

Ok about what could be the reason Paro chose to speak up when it was not her place to do so.Hope this helps in understanding why she did what she did...

Paro is very much like Rudra. Strong in her beliefs and convictions. Fearless when it comes to her adversaries may it be Rudra or Kakisa.

Now since Paro has been staying at RH (Ranawat Haveli), Paro has done things without being told to, prepare rotis for Dilsher (did not have to) but opted to help, the embroidery work on Sunheri's dupatta, and console a weeping motherless woman.

Firstly, is that not having a family of her own around this house, she has gelled and warmed up to Maithli and Sunheri well before this incident. She does not feel like an outsider anymore. She has made this into her temporary home. On the other hand Kakisa has been interfering with her every move.

Here Paro did not speak up in the capacity of Rudra's fiancee. She spoke in the capacity of being a young woman herself and an orphan. The matter is very close to her heart. This was Paro in defence of another helpless woman.

This subject could have been discussed behind closed doors by Maithli with her direct in-laws rather than at the table. When Maithli announced that she wanted to ask the elders about adoption, Paro kept making eye contact to speak up. The fact that they both chose to discuss it in the open is because there could be some supporters in the form of her FIL, Sunheri maybe and Dilsher too. Maithli knew too well that Kakisa would out and out refuse such a thing, yet she chose to do so with some cajoling from Paro.

Also Paro let Maithli do the talking. It is only when Kakisa's insults were getting out of hand did Paro step forward despite Rudra holding onto her. Rudra then let her speak and say what she had to say...he knew her bhashan was spot on (probably enjoying most of it) like here was a chit of girl who dared to speak to his venom-spewing Aunt. Rudra could have got up and pulled her away when she said, "I am not done yet" ...but he let her be...though when he sensed Kakisa's fury was getting out of control did he move like a true soldier and stop further harm to his captive.

And yeah Rudra learnt a thing or two about Paro's views on children and motherhood.

All said and done with my POV...agar bhashan na hoti, thappad na hota, toh V-treat wala precap kahan se milta!😉☺️

Agree. Paro is brave no doubt; and not worldly wise;
Perhaps she speaks up for what she believes is right no matter what. But was this foolhardiness or what ...to argue (meri bast a hi khan nahi hui... Ouch!!!) at a time when she is in such a jam herself.

What did the makers really want to show? That she will speak up for the truth no matter what? Thatshe is a crusader? That she will recogniz no boundaries when it comes to defending someone she feels is being wronged.

So when she knows the truth about Thakur she will not be held back?

I don't have a good feel for her character or the point of this outburst at this point in the story.

It was her quiet strength and dignity so far and ability to stand up to Rudra...but this was so public and so different. THrowing caution to the winds perhaps because she has nothing to lose...she's lost everything already and protecting her is Rudra's problem and crusade, not hers...maybe she doesnt see a way out of any of this and so has nothing to protect?

Also, she spoke up only *after* Maithili brought up her name. did not volunteer to step in. That was an imp distinction...

So why should she be concerned about the time, situation? It is Rudra's concern to keep Paro in disguise.. Paro is not revolting to such arrangement rather complying because she has no option. However, at the same time she remains herself.

She knows she is there for few days but does she know what next? So why wouldn't she be just herself?

MKM, nice take, just catching up! 😃
I just watched the episode, and I agree with Sumi (Candy) and Monica here.

Paro stepped in when Maithili was being personally insulted. Till then, Maithili was fighting alone, with no support from her silent wuss of a husband ... she begged Mohini to give the idea of adoption just a thought ... Paro wanted to show her support earlier, but was held back by Rudra, and stopped ... but when Mohini stooped to attacking Maithili on a personal level, she couldn't hold herself back any more.

There is never and never will be a RIGHT time and a RIGHT person to broach this topic with Mohini. In such situations, when the MIL rides roughshod over the wishes of her son, her DIL, even her own husband, it is often only an outsider who can bring up the subject and carry the fight forward. I've seen this in real life ... the DIL recruiting a family friend to speak to her MIL for her and broach the subject. Outsiders are sometimes seen as more objective and balanced ... of course, not in this case. 😆

As for Paro ... she is righteous, she stands for what she believes is right ... be it the Thakur, or be it Maithili. She's living with her biggest enemy, what more does she have to fear? And even if Mohini throws her out, as far as she is concerned, she doesn't care. Rudra wants her here for his investigation, it's his problem to keep her here, not hers. She saw a woman being insulted for no fault of her own, a woman crying .. and no one supporting her, not even her own husband. How long does Samrat think he can sweep Maithili's sorrows under the carpet for fear of his mother? Does he really expect her to live her whole life like this? It is time someone did speak up ... if not Maithili's own husband, then another woman, who has been there, lived through the trauma of being an orphan, and then being a much loved adopted child ... who better to speak up for Maithili?

I am glad that every time Mohini starts spewing her venom, there is someone to stop her ... first it was Dilsher when she attacked Paro, then it was Rudra, again when she attacked Paro ...now it is Paro, when Mohini attacks Maithili. I hate seeing the vamps in all the telly shows spew their venom continuously, and no one seems to be able to stop them.

And it will take the story forward ... Mohini will be even more eager to investigate Paro 😆

@ Diya - well said. So I watched it again, and it might have been suicidal, but at least someone spoke up for Maithili. Since her own hubby is too spineless to ever exert his opinion. I have a gut feeling that Samrat is infertile, not Maithli. Also, that comment about her being unfit to be a mother, that was so harsh. And unkind.
I'm actually torn between applauding Paro for her selfless and brave support of Maithli and being angry at her for digging another nail in her coffin. Now Mohini is going to double her efforts at making her life difficult. But, because Rudra took the slap for her, that puts a full stop on her conspiracy theories. Or does it? Very confused here.
