I'm not a regular viewer of mb. Used to watch it in starting but then lost interest. Today I saw its repeat telecast n in tflashback radha ji was shown with her doc n saying her disease about TB n also said it will cost 2 lakh in treatment.Tb disease is one of the dangerous disease in all over the world. In India we have DOTSDOTS directly observed treatment-short course, center everywhere which provides free treatment in all government hospitals. Tb us curable but 2 lakh is certainly not required for its treatment. If mb show or anyone else in ttelevision industry want to show any disease then they should do proper research on it before telecasting it. They are unnecessarily spreading wrong information about disease n about our health providers. I'm working on tb disease that's why IIknow about it. Its a serious disease n one should not give wrong information through national television.

Sorry for typo error. Wrote it from mobile.

Thanks

they said that TB req 2 lacks for treatment
Thats blasphemy and I am not joking even a bit

the treatment is provided free to one and all except in exceptional cases

St and Hegde should be ashamed and more so when they have claimed in the past to giving social message (we all know how correct and relevant it was)

don't be dishearted ST has a habit of making mockery of every field/ profession there is, be it medical or banking. I work in banking industry and trust me if I hound my clients for money like that bank manager did in heroine track, I will soon find myself holding a pink slip. ST doesn't know the difference between a loan shark and a bank loan.

Really sorry to know about it. If patient want to take medicine from home then anti tb medicines are different. U hv to take it daily n on ur expense. But when our government is providing us free treatment then why go for other options. Dot is very reliable. Patient has to go there n take medicines in front of their doc. N in that case curable chances r more. Generally patient Wid multiple drug resistance takes medicine fir 2 years.

Hope ur health is good now. Stay healthy.
