Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. Neither is ranting or bashing actors or makers of the show. Please exercise judgment.

Page 1 - post only reviews (which can be one liners - if you wish.) Also, please don't clutter up page 1 with multiple posts - give others a chance to post their reviews. Many reviewers add an "ETA" to their original post, if they want to make an additional point soon after posting.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more and the discussion becomes irrelevant to the topic on hand, please take your conversation with your buddies to chat clubs, pm mode etc.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating /whining / complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.
Regulate the font size and colors. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters, or multi-colored font for no special reason.
Quoting Policy: refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. Pick out the parts that you like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, and multiple quoting makes it very hard to scroll though.
Feel free to post links of other members posts which had been "delightful read" towards analysis of episodic event/s or character analysis.

TRP News for Week 6, February 2nd - 8th, 2014

Week 6 Madhubala TRP Breakdown

2.28 - Monday, 3rd February - RK-Harshvardhan confrontation. Naming ceremony of RM's daughter. Leelawati and Bittuji leave for hospital when she has labour pains. RM romantic dance. Radha goes outside to soothe crying Madhu. RM romantic moments. Suddenly explosion. Outside, Radha looks around horrified. (Explosion having caused RK-Madhu death - with no further scenes of them in next episode - was shown definitively in next episode).
2.44 - Tuesday, 4th February - RK-Madhu finally definitively shown as dead and the corpses identified, Bittuji has son, Radha escapes with infant Madhu.
2.38 - Wednesday, 5th February - Radha and infant Madhu.
2.27 - Thursday, 6th February - Radha and child Madhu.
2.39 - Friday, 7th February - Child Madhu transitions into grown-up Madhu.
2.21 - Saturday, 8th February - Grown-up Madhu.

Average 2.32~~2.3

MB has 2 new fans..my daughters...my elder one finally said that she finds MB interesting..and 3 yr old toddler..she said she wants to watch "madoobala" but woh wala madoobala jo "aal ke" wala hota tha 😆

coming to the epi, i enjoyed it..it was good, except for Mr. Gunjan, he really needs to improve..infact tdy on FB i saw a msg tht he looks as if Gutthi ne sex change kara liya 🤣 sachi mein aisa hi lag raha tha..apart frm his average acting skills, he doesn't look good :(((

a few revelations today..

Abhay treats Laamba like crap.."tum party mein aane ka koi bahana dhoond loge"

Abhay's new family..very interesting..beeji was the star ⭐️ Neelu Kohli was excellent as the loud and sach bolne wali dominating head of the family ! wish Radha was like that...

Deepshikha was good..her dialogue "woh mere bhi husband the, mujhe koi farak nahi padta toh tumhe kya problem hai" had me in splits..love the way she was being treated by Beejee..

here also a step family..but different story..Abhay is feeding them but also treats them better than RK...

RK mansion ka complete denting painting ..the old RK mansion is gone :(( i loved the interiors and pics on the walls, RK mansion wali

Kishwar as Ananya was good..a good set up for the family drama..everyone except Abhay r good actors👏

Madhu lost her job as expected..i like one thing about her character..she has the same determination like her mother..she is a fighter..never gives up and starts smiling after sometime even if there is a problem..liked her scenes with Bittuji today..

RM's pic makes me teary eyed..

DD was looking very good today..she always does but today she was glowing..

the last scene of Abhay ..he feels guilty tht his father died bec. of him and may be he is not interested in attending any success parties..the success which came at a price...i liked this facet about him..and he looks like a positive character...yet to see what he thinks about RK..

Okay episode for me. Highlights were Madhu, Bittuji and Radhaji moments.

Today there was a moment (actually, several) where I truly felt like I was watching a new show - there is no connection between the show I fell in love with, and the new show.

But then the clever CVs threw in some bits of nostalgia.

When they showed Madhu holding on to the scarf that her mother had knitted for her, the one tangible memento she had of her parents, for comfort.😭
Then when Bittuji removed his wallet and gazed at the Rishbala photo, I was like 😭😭.

So PT's statue gets handed off to grandmother Beeji.
I was annoyed at seeing RK mansion transformed into Kapoor Mansion. But a completely made-over house. I was idly wondering whether they also painted over Madhu's handprints on the outside.
Then the somewhat OTT family drama. Grandma, stepmother, bitchy half sister, taken advantage of by the parasitic family etc. etc.
Sorry to say, Abhay Kapoor isn't doing it for me so far. Its the actor, not the character. Am hoping he gets better with time (although can't do anything about his looks, but perhaps even those will grow on me at some point.)
Screen split with Madhu and AK looking at the clock at the same time, waiting for someone to rescue them. Ok. We get it. Their paths are going to cross.

very good epi today.loved madhu/bittuji scene .madhu self talk and remembering mom seing the sweater was a cute scene..new entries were quite interesting.all good actors..👍🏼minus the lead off course ..he needs to improve a lot..btw he was a little better in the last scene..tom is 500 th epi.⭐️.might see madhu/ak first meet face to face.😊 .the hero is also a loner in his disillusioned family..and not a married man as per the articles..or have the cvs changed him into one..cause of bashing.😆dd looking extremely cute pie in the epi..as always..❤️

TFS for the TRP chart Meenu ..

it shows that good episodes bring good TRPs ..last week all episodes except Sat. were good..Saturday as such has low TRPs, always..

No one really commented on the new cast...

Let me just say the one thing I think we can appreciate nautanki for is its brilliant casting...be it farooque sheikh in ddej

Zareena wahab or Raj zutshi or pallavi or indresh...all there castings are PERFECT.

I have begun to accept new hero...wat I miss most about rk is that swagger...this guy lacks a superstars attitude or even walking stance

But nevertheless I was satisfied overall

And the new supporting cast is just FAB..

I've loved neelu kohli since geet times..SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FAB.

deepshikha is also really good and her personality is very overwhelming...kishwer was great as abhays sis...the family conflict was very interesting...and to my pleasant shock. NOTHING felt forced

AND in terms of vamps that leelavati is not at all classy but both deepshika and kishwer have the personality and pull. ..

There we sum great moments...and the ije where bittu pulls out his wallet was TOOO sweet...shama was great too

NO LEELAVATI = YAYYY

Again Drashti stole the show...

Ak family introduced, all women( I do remember lamba). Ak is totally different from Rk and I am greateful to the cv's for that mercy. Ak does not seems to be head of the family. He don't even seems to have voice there. His sister is still accusing him responsible for her fathers death.Bittuji's curse worked he did not seem to enjoy his superstardom and success. He is mentally dissatisfied may be. Ak does not seems to be married. He is not married in 38?? I was hoping him to be married so that we can expect a new guy for Mads jr. And there is a history of secratary turned ghar wali. Now we will see history repeating??? At this point of time I can't imagine a revange from both leads. Both are softies an positive characters. I feel like the junoon factor will be missing this season. Its just my initial opinion, don't want to hurt anyones feeling.

I am not that impressed by GU. But its ok, as I don't want to be emotionally connected with any characters. I like deepshikha and other two ladies. I hate sweety and leela .

@aan-rish, he may be divorced or separated...but that doesn't change the fact that he is too old for Madhu..i also think that there will be no ishq junoon type love story here..infact i am not exited to watch their love story...it'll be better if they bring some other guy for Madhu, after she becomes a superstar..may be Abhay's cousin or brother..whatever...

the idea of a love story between Abhay and Madhu is not appealing from any angle..also, Gunjan doesn't seem to be the right guy to romance..
